It is overall a decent hotel. Of course you cannot expect 5 stars luxury, but I assure it is a very good 4 star hotel. I really have nothing to complaint of. Of the features I needed as a business travel the most important was the Wi-Fi in the room, and it worked very well. Unfortunately I was not able to test the fitness room, but the pool looked OK from my room window, and it was just a matter of lack of time that I did not relax there. The staff was friendly and all our demands were satisfied.

About near everywhere. Excellent place for a getting around the city. Friendly staff (like about everyone in Singapore). Clean and neat rooms.

Located off the beaten track, but near MRT and a shoppign mall. Food and trasnport is ok. Room is large and clean. Bathroom is ok. But as a business traveller all you need is a cl3ean room and quite location, near trasnport and food. Given the current price in Singapore this is a good value , oters with same price are a bit "seedy".

With its location I think its a really good hotel. Just outside the city center and only a few minutes walk to the subway station which is a very good, easy and cheap way to travel. The hotel was clean and the staff was friendly under our staying. The rooms were pretty big and we had a room on the 15th floor with a view over Singapore City! Overall I would recommend this hotel to other travelers to Singapore!

A Review of the Singapore Golden Landmark Hotel Guest Rating: 3.5

This hotel is located near Bugis MRT station; that is why I like the hotel. You can go almost anywhere through the MRT. Their service is ok. Some staffs can speak Chinese. My room (deluxe type) is clean and has a good view over the city. I didn't have their food.

I stayed in this Hotel in October 2008 in twin standard room. The check in was quick and easy. The room was clean and the size was spacious. Only corridor carpets can be cleaner. Hotel have nice, big swimming pool with opposite Indian Tandoori Restaurant. Staff was ok and friendly. I recommend stay at this 3 star hotel. Good value for money.

When I was preparing to travel, I read a lot of negative reviews about this hotel. I am glad, it was not so bad. Hotel is not new, but our standard room in 11-th floor was comfortable, clean, has all necessary. Thank the manager on reception for early check-in! Check-out was quickly and staff in luggage-room helpful. I can not say about food in hotel, we did not have it. MRT station is very close to hotel – we used MRT all times. I can recommend this hotel to travellers who have not enough time and wish to look much in Singapore.

I would think twice before staying there again. Cleaning staff cleaned our room nicely, but failed to do so on 2 occasions. The location was good, quick walk to the MRT and close to Bugis Junction. The staff were pleasant, but not that helpful.

Good location and a reasonable price for the Formula 1 race. Two blocks from Bugis MRT.

The hotel is 70's inspired. No recent updates. The chair in our room was broken and we requested a replacement. We were given a wooden chair with a fabric cover for the week. We had to call down twice for maid service. At 4pm we had not received it! We also had a broken lamp in the room which was repaired and replaced 2 days later.

Great Hotel Guest Rating: 4.5

This hotel is situated near to Bugis Village and Little India which are only a few minutes walk. Everything else that you require is not much further than a 15 minute walk, which for shopping, is very handy. It's a very clean hotel and well equipped rooms with extremely friendly and helpful staff. Extremely good value for money.

Air conditioning in the actual rooms was far too cold and the thermostat in there did not seem to do anything at all.
