Comfort lodging with the basic neccessaties. perhaps too far from town area but its strategic location, allows endless flow of taxi to be readily available for hotel guests. One of the factor for the hotel to improve on would be the breakfast buffet varieties.

Trips back to SIN
Location is great. Near to city and business district.

We are relocated outside of SIN for work and make frequent trips back to SIN.
For the price, I must say it is pretty value for money for our short frequent trips.
The location is fantastic and easy for me to travel to city or CBD to run my errands when in SIN.

A very good quiet hotel with everything you need

The hotel is under renovation and the lower floors have been revamped. I stayed higher for the view where the furniture is a little worn but still very clean. The hotel is a little out the way but easy reach of everything by 10 min taxi/bus and there is a free shuttle service during the day. There was a lot of choice of good food at all meal times and breakfast was very good. The service was good. I did have to wait longer then expected to get my room at 3.30pm which after travelling was not good but the staff were very apologetic. It was a birthday weekend and I found a cake with candle in the room which made up for any discomfort.

The food was a very good standard.

Nice old hotel
the staffs very nice, clean room, the hotel give shuttle bus to certain places.

When we first check in to the hotel, they said that they run out of room? (we are quite confused about that since we've already booked via agoda and we've already paid it). they only have one room left, while we booked for 3 rooms. Luckily they still have 1 suite with 2 bed rooms, so they offered us to stay in that suite. So it is better to you who will stay in that hotel to confirm your booking before you stay there.
Restaurant Tip:
You can go to very nice cafes and restaurants on clarkequay, ask the hotel for shuttle bus to there. or you can walk about 15-20 minutes.

Nice comfortable hotel in central location

We always stay in this hotel everytime we go to Singapore. Location is quite central and are within walking distance along the river to quays.
Services are quite good and they have a good room size. We recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Singapore.
