Hotel is not for kids
The hotel is clean and staff are helpful and friendly. However, they advertise at kid friendly and I would say they are not. There's nothing for them to do there. The restaurant is too fancy and expensive; nothing geared towards kids. The rooms don't even have one tv channel for young ones. The location is a bit far down the river. It's a 20 min walk to mrt and about 5-10 min for some restaurants and cafes. I'm not sure why this hotel is ranked as a 5 star. Although it's nice and clean, it's nothing special. Good hotel for adults without kids.

the hotel had already finish renovation work. location is near to great world city and chinatown and clarke quay. staff are frenly. room service is fast and large portion.

I was not provided bath towel after check in and there was unfinished coffee cup on the table when I check in the room. I called up the reception to feedback this. Besides, it doesn't anticipate customer's need eg: I requested to check out later due to my conference ended around 11.40am, I called up the reception for the favor, I was rejected and she only allowed to check out latest by 12.30pm after my persistence. I was so disappointed with grand copthorne as it happened to me in other hotel, they were so readily if any clients request for check out late with valid reason without charging even though there are not 5 star hotel. Overall it was not a pleasant stay in grand copthorne.

No Hospitality. Just a formality for the customer
Not Recommended as there is no hospitality in hotel. Hotel staff even not help us to put the bags in car and they have charged 35 dollar for breakfast and during checkout, they informed that 30 dollar excluded taxes and can deduct these taxes from our deposit money . Totally disappointed.
