Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel is a great hotel of Bangkok. It is very close to the river, and has a great water view at night.

the hotel staff were mostly courteous. breakfast food served was so-so, just a few selection but up to par. no free wi-fi inside the rooms! you still have to pay a certain additional charge! considering this hotel to be 4-5 star, they should've just provided the hotel guests with in-room free wifi dont you think? their bathroom was not that clean, with the tiles a bit old and dirty looking.
Nightlife Tip:
if you're after the night life, this hotel is suitable for you.

good hotel with friendly staff and good food.there are great shopping stores just down the street a short walk away,breakfast is good with lots off choices,go early to sit out side when it is still cool.nice swimming pool with a top off the line spa treatment,tennis court and gym are good to

take a nice walk down the river to marina bay(1 hour) and relax at the water front retaurants for great food and live music

Huge Rooms - but tired and dated

I was not particularly impressed with Bayview for the money. Location was a bit off the Batu Ferringhi stretch, and kind of far. The beach was ok - no better than up at Tanjong Bungah. The one meal we had there was fine. Great local food across the street, and breakfast for next to nothing compared to the hotel. The pool area was nice - though didnt enjoy looking at the sea through the fence, the gate of which was locked in the evening. Just not my kind of place. Not bad, but not worth the extra money in my book.

One of the best location for food, movies and party! The staff was very helpful at check-in as well as at the lobby. The buffet dinner is very popular with the hotel guests and there are wide range of selection of cuisine from around the world. Taxis are easily available to take to town and there is a nearby shopping centre within five minutes' walk.

A nice hotel away from the bustle. Nice breakfast place along the river. A shopping centre is nearby. The breakfast could be improved. Was not impressed with the quality and range of the spread.

Walk around the HDB estates of Havelock and Tiong Bahru. Enjoy the heartlands of singapore.

stayed over the weekend in a superior room king. it does not have a bathtub. the coffee & tea making is poor quality. the tv channels limited. the tv cannot power on twice. room size is decent. the city view is nice if you stay on high floor.
the front office staff who check me in is abit aggressive in attitude. the hotel provide 2 complimentary car park coupons per day if you are driving. hotel buffet breakast is just normal nothing to shout about.
for a weekend stay its value for money however service standard & room qaulity should be improved. i do not see service with a smile in the staff as this is a 5 star property.
