got an up grade, yea..you can't beat that, rooms are neat and clean, but the drinks and restuarant is expensive, get out and eat the local food accross the road, to the left theres a great open air food court with good cheap food and drinks and a lively atmosphere.

A first look at the room gives me mixed impression. While the room is clean, some of the fittings appear to looks old while some looks quite new. I suspect that during the last round of renovation, it was a minor job instead of a total renovation.
The view from our room is quite pleasant; we are able to see alot of ships plying the coastway.
However, I have 1 word for the service - Lousy! During my stay, I called the housekeeping around 10+pm to request for an extra blanket as the room is quite cold. However, the blanket only arrives at around 11.40pm after I called in 5 times to chase for it and finally, during my final call, I demanded to to speak to the manager in charge. I complained to the manager and told him about the problem and as usual, he apologized and when I insisted that the blanket to be sent to me in 5mins, he had the audacity to ask me to wait for another 10mins. Maybe his thought is : what is another 10mins since I already waited for 1 hour?
Restaurant Tip:
There is a restaurant across the main road which is supposedly the originator or Chili Crab.

Well designed room with all modern facilities.
The view on the high floor was magnificent. The staff was obliging and very helpful. The location was also wonderful as its jus a few minutes to the beach to strech oneself out -jogging, roller blading etc.
Restaurants were also easily accessible by crossing the street.
Overall a wonder staycation.

The room was quite large compared to other Hotels in Singapore. Swimming pool and gym looked new and were in good shape. Shuttle to airport was very useful.

Great business class hotel, with the free and frequent airport shuttle bus in both directions this makes the nightly cost of this hotel very competative and you get a great hotel into the bargin. Highly recomended
Hotel Feature Tip:
Airport shuttle comes every 30 minutes. There is a counter opposite the information booth which provides you a sticker. Shuttle bus pickup is at the left side of the arrivals building.

Great Hotel With Great Service Staff

My wife and I had a great experience. Great location with a shopping mall just across from us. Lots of eateries around so you'll never go hungry. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Staff were very friendly and efficient.
