Lovely hotel, some areas need a bit more attention
Great staff very helpful.

Some public areas and room bathrooms need a bit more attention. For example carpets in corridors look old and dirty. In my room bathroom had signs of mould around bathtub and curtains were not very clean.
Overall, it was a good experience and good value for money with the free internet.
I would probably stay here again on my next trip to Singapore.

Grandpark City Hall has a superb location. It is located at the heart of Singapore in terms shopping area and central district park. It is just 5 mins away from the City Hall train station and 10mins away from a huge shopping mall, Raffles City. There is also a underpass that leads to Suntec City Convention and Shopping Mall and Marina Square.
Front desk service staffs are friendly and accommodating.

Good location and great service

It's been a nice stay. The hotel is in the city centre, very close to MRT station and shopping centres.
The room is clean, though it's very dark because of the color of floor and furnitures.
Service is great. We were told when checking out that when we come back to pick up the luggages, they could arrange a room for us for 30 mins. How thoughtful!

It was a lovely 5 Star hotel . The counter staffs ensure us an early smooth check in and we were allowed a late check out at 2pm. DvD player was given as special request but staffs were abit slow to hand over the remote . Waited for an hour and have to remind the housekeeping for the remote. Overall a pleasant stay and will surely return

The hotel was very well kept and spacious. The package came with the wifi internet which is very convenient. The staff were all friendly and the location was so convenient that it takes less than 3 minutes walk to and from MRT station.
Restaurant Tip:
Try Boon Tong Kee chicken rice. We went to the one at river valley and it cost SGD 5 from the hotel.

Busy hotel on weekends

stayed overnight for an event with some friends. lobby area was fairly crowded - could be due to it being a sat night. reception staff were however friendly and efficient. my room was simple and neat, nothing luxurious even at such a high rate which do not come with breakfast! but this is to be expected as hotel accommodation in singapore is ridiculously expensive. city hall mrt is about 400m away. buses and taxis are just outisde the main road. there is a huge electronics and it mall nearby. for those wanting such a fix, you can't go wrong with this hotel location. food courts and restaurants are all nearby.
Shopping Tip:
For those wanting to shop for electronics and IT goods, Singapore offers probably the best choice and price in this region. Goto the Funan Centre (cross the road and walk behind the Peninsula Plaza).

Stayed here partially for business and partially for holidays.
It is a very nice hotel and we were upgraded to a Crystal Club floor room which was nice.
The room was not very big but it was more than enough, considering that we did not spend too much time in it.
Beds and bathroom were nice. Service was good.
Internet connection (wireless) was good.
There is a train station near by, which we used a lot.
Some shopping malls within walking distance but trains and taxis are another way to reach other areas with more options.
Money changers close by too.
