Top location, nice clean rooms
One of the girls on the front desk obviously didn't think that good customer service was important in a customer service job.
The hotel was great, rooms were very decent and were nice and clean. For me the best part was the location as it is within close proximity to Clarke Quay so you don't have to worry about a cab if you've been out having a few. The only detractor was one of the girls on the front desk who clearly needed to take a course in friendliness.

Good foods, location, shopping at The Chinatown, Little India.
The room has a terrible smell.
We arrived hot and tired from our plane journey, to be greeted with politeness and courtesy from all the staff, our luggage was taken directly to our room which was perfectly adequate for our needs. An excellent breakfast was included in the lobby, a perfect location. The hotel is perfectly located for the tourist in Singapore, there is so much to see and do, we would have liked to have stayed longer and would certainly recommend Grand Plaza Park City Hall Hotel Singapore as the perfect place to stay.

The hotel would be great for sightseers/families and business travellers alike.
One (kinda) peculiar thing is that you have to put a $50 deposit upon check-in (they do take creditcards but have a long explanation on why cash is recommended) you would get it back on check-out, but, eats some of your time especially if in a hurry to check-out.
