rooms very clean. non smoking rooms with smoke detector.
help full staff. excellent breakfast. located in the middle of shopping district. to get up to the reception and your rooms you have to use the lift. the hotel is located in the 4th floor. this is a little complicated.

the hotel is in a good location, across the road is the paragon mall. the room is clean and big. besides, the breakfast had variety of choices. free wifi available in the hotel room also.

Nice Comfy Hotel

we choose this hotel because it is right in the centre of singapore's shopping paradise. the room is clean but a bit small for a five star hotel. but nevertheless, it has all the facilities that you need in a hotel room! it has a flat screen tv, ipod dock, nice and clean lines interior.
it is very easy to get a cab from this hotel and just 2 minutes away from the mrt station.
i would definitely consider to stay here again!
Shopping Tip:
shop till you drop in all the shooping center in orchard road.

great business or shopping location right on orchard road. modern appointed interior with outdoor bar and dining options. four story audio visual display on front of hotel makes it hard to enjoy the outdoor bard due to hearing the advertisements over and over. very friendly staff and always smiling

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Can get a bus from the hotel for travelling to Universal Studio and shopping just inform of the hotel and situated at the centre of orchid road.

Excellent location and good service

Overall experience was pretty good as the staff was friendly and helpful. Service was prompt. However, the main complaint was the delay in checking in on first day of stay. My room was ready for use at 5.30pm which was a 3 1/2 hours delay.
Shopping Tip:
As the hotel is located in the middle of orchard road, divide your time exploring orchard road by splitting it into halves

Originally booked for Queen size bedroom and changed to two singles beds without any issues

Great location for shopaholics

In general, the hotel is quite new and seems to be well maintained. Save for a few nuances that we experienced. For one, I'm not very pleased with the way the front desk / reservations is run. Even though I booked a month early and advised them also through email of our stay, when we arrived one room was missing and even though we took our lunch, when we got back, it took them some time to find a room for us. Service of the housekeeping staff was not bad though, requests are handled to the best of their abilities. The TV channels aren't plenty, wish they could improve on this. Also a couple of times, my sleep was disturbed because the cleaning attendant would ring the doorbell in the morning if you forgot to press the "do not disturb" switch.
Next, the rooms are ok but the outlets provided are a bit lacking, there are just two on the desks while most are already used up by the devices in the room. While none can be found inside the toilet and near the bed. Must be a way for them to limit the guest from plugging their devices.
Good thing the rest of our stay was pretty much okay. The hotel's great advantage is its location. If your main purpose in Singapore is to shop around, the hotel is in a prime location in Orchard Road. It is near two great shopping malls: Paragon and Takashimaya. And other malls are also nearby such as Tangs, Ion, and Isetan just to name a few. Hiring a cab also does not take too long.
Though the other facilities are just okay. The gym seems to be an afterthought, tucked at a corner on the fourth floor lobby, while the pool is also located at a questionable location that's just in front of the lobby. But if what you're looking for is a place to stash your stuff and rest after a day of exploring and shopping, then this hotel is what you might be looking for.
