Outstanding service rendered by front office staff(Arlina).Great Room,Nice Bed and large TV. Most singapore still not sure of the hotel location. Pleasant greeting by all team member.Outstanding service by the front office staff.Even the F&B also was very alert on service requested.

Clenliness is very good,staffs are very friendly and always insists you without you asking them to.I really love location ,it is just right next to all shopping places and foods are everywhere..i really do recommend !!!

the service is good and the new rooms are good, breakfast is satisfactory the price that we have obtained from Agoda is very low but the hotel kept cross selling us products and asking us to upgrade and out of too much persuasion, we upgraded the room with 2 breakfast and the bill came out to be a 5 star hotel room bill. this encourages us to stay in a 5 star hotel next time with better logistics. Not keen on the points

Hotel is situated in a center of shopping area, off Orchard Rd. It is easy to access to the shops and at the same time there is a quiet environment. Because of good design of the building, easy pick up and drop off. Hotel is gorgeous, but also there is a friendly atmosphere, so the family with small children can also enjoy their stays. I wanted more varieties of fresh fruits, vegetables and soup at the breakfast. I only found miso soup every morning, but I wanted other types of soup. The drainage of the bath tab was not very good. It was for the first time for me and my mother to visit Singapore. We enjoyed our stay. When we arrived at the hotel, we received a warm welcome by the receptionist. She offered us a service package of free internet access, free breakfast, free lounge usage, 2 free laundries/day and room with flat screen TV and good view with the extra-payment. Those services deserve this extra-payment or more. The hotel provides varieties of tours. We went for a tour to Sentosa Island. It was wonderful.
Shopping Tip : You can walk to the shops from the hotel. If you want to go to the shops which are located far areas, you can use the taxi with reasonable fee from the hotel. There are a lot of aesthetic salons. Please try at least one of them. I went for body massage and facial. Facial was very good and effective. My skin condition has improved very much!

very nice and efficient staff,luxury,well equipped and of course very clean rooms,nice pool i didn´t really see any park We´ve just spent 1 night at the holiday inn garden view but it was a very pleasant stay.we had a deluxe room which has been huge and very comfortable with water,tea and coffee.We asked for a late check out as our flight was late in the evening and that was no problem to arrange free of charge.the concierge service is also extremly nice.While we checked in the bags were brought to our room,when we left for a walk and it was raining they handed out an umbrella to us and when we left for the airport a taxi was waiting for us.So all in all the staff at this hotel takes very good care of their guests and is very special.The hotel is very close to orchard rd and within 10 min you reach dhoby ghaut station from where you can take the mrt.
Restaurant Tip : right behind the hotel is a large variety of restaurants and bars where you can have dinner or a nice cocktail after a long day shopping

Location - a short walk to Orchard Road and the Hop On/Hop Off Bus (great value) and as many restaurants and bars as you can wish for just outside the Lobby Bar door.
The newly refurbished Club Room lacked for nothing - the large flat screen TV was great.
Very friendly and helpful staff. The cost of the beers at the pool was excessive. It was cheaper to get them from the bar fridge in your room at half the cost! For a five star hotel it was value for money in a great location - shopping, restaurants, bars and the hop on/hop off bus.
The Club Room was an unexpected upgrade bonus but we were not allowed to use the Club Lounge as we had not paid for the privilege!
Because of the location we will definitely stay here again when next in Singapore.
Restaurant Tip : Just exit the hotel via the lobby bar door and you have a huge selection of restaurants and bars with great value meals and drinks.

Flat screen TV, clean and comfortable refurbished room. Lobby lounge is somewhat small but with nice 2-man band singers. Concierge is very helpful. Small gym with only a few work-out machines available. Too far to central shopping area (Takashimaya/Paragon). When I checked in I was glad that the newly refurbished room suit my taste and was very clean and comfortable with new 42" flat screen TV and high-tech door locking mechanism not found in many 5-star hotels. You only need place your key card in close proximity to the door to unlock! I was able to unlock the door with the key card in my jeans! The only problem is the distance to Takashimaya/Paragon where I did 90% of my shopping and had to make a few sweaty trips just to lighten my load. Each trip took about 15 mins one-way not ideal for shopaholics(esp. ladies) in my opinion.
Restaurant Tip : Restaurant galore at the back of the hotel. Not recommended for shopaholics though!

Close to Orchard, crisp clean linen, quality furnishings, variety of TV channels. After staying in a very low quality hotel, this hotel was a breath of fresh air. It was kept in a very good condition and had quality touches. My requests for assistance were met with in a timely manner and I thoroughly enjoyed my stay. The bedside chocolates and bathroom orchid were a nice touch! The hotel provided a pool, gym and sauna, all of which tempted me to jump in them if I had the time. The room I stayed in was comfortable and large enough to not feel claustrophobic. The marble in the bathroom made me feel like I was treating myself.

Great facilities, Comfortable room, great service & very nice buffet Alot of noise from the construction from early morning to late afternoon. Upon arrival we were greeted with friendly service and were made to feel special. We were offered a special upgrade package and happily considered it. Our let down was the noise during the day from the construction and renovation on the site and the confusion with our laundry package that wasn't explained properly to us and nearly cost us an arm and a leg!! But all was sorted out at the end.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Try and stop by Bukah Timah reserve for a day and get away from the everyday hussle and bussle of Singapore!

Convenient location. Nice rooms with very comfortable beds. We have stayed in Singapore for the New Year's Eve. It was a very nice experience. The hotel is not too big and thus very comfortable. It is a 4 star hotel but deserves all 5. Very nice personnel, comfortable and clean rooms. There is life music in the restaurant in the evening. Good location right in the center of the city. A lot of stores around. Many nice small restaurants and bars right next to the hotel. There is a tourist information center on the next corner and an agency where you can buy tickets for the bus that takes you around the city. We have enjoyed our stay in this hotel and would advise it to everyone who likes homelike hotels.

Nice rooms, nice pool area, friendly staff. Close to Orchard Road with all the shopping centres, restaurants also. We had a short stay but due to the surroundings we had a great time. We had a club room, so we had access to the lounge where we could sip to our GT.s and have some light food in the afternoon. Nice restaurant area just around the corner and short walk to a lot of shopping malls.

Good location, plenty of shops and love the gym. The place is very strategically located. Renovation noise, too many people at the breakfast area, glasses insufficient. Overall my family enjoyed the stay and we will not hesitate to stay here again on our next visit. Although they were renovating at that time, we were however shielded from the noise by the schedule of the renovation which was usually held in the afternoon when we were away shopping. Because of its location, I think this is an excellent place to stay.
Shopping Tip : You can get great bargains and sale any time of the year here!

I've been book the deluxe room. The room is so nice and even the lobby also look elegance. The staff are friendly. It is close to the shopping centre. The hotel still under renovation, so around 9am the noise start to begin. This will interfere other guest those who still sleeping.

Great service, Club room is worth the extra money, swimming pool a great relief to the monsoonal heat. A bit dated now, but they are in the middle of a revamp. It is 23 years since I last stayed at the hotel, and whilst Singapore has changed a bit to say the least, the hotel has not. Not that that is a bad thing. It still has the style it did, great service and a lovely pool. The hotel is in the middle of a revamp which whilst going on during the day did not cause any distress. The Club room extras (buffet breakfast and evening drinks and buffet) were certainly worth the extra money. Thanks for the stay, will try and get back sooner next time.
Restaurant Tip : Behind the Cuppage Terrace, there is another row of small eateries within the Shopping Centre. If you like authentic Singaporean food, try Prima Taste - you can even buy their products in the UK if you like it.
