the hotel was really fine and was fitting our budget. not much we expected but can say that it was worth for the money we paid. the hotel staffs were kind of friendly can also speak english. they also have room telephones which was helpfull and really good. nothing much to complain in my opinion but improving the service level might improve and attract more customers.

well.. we stayed there for 2 days and took a crash course on singapore. this hotel proved suffice residence for us for the duration of this period. the thermometer in the room wouldn't change the temperature and both nights i was almost freezing. the room itself was quite small, and didn't offer much leeway to get around. but all we really needed was a safe place to keep our bags, sleep, and shower. this hotel provided that much for us, and in a very pleasant manner. i would stay here again.
walking distance from MRT, pleasant staff, clean and well kept.
almost no space to walk around the room, thermometer was broken
- Restaurant Tip : there's a little food plaza just to the left of the hotel. there i had some delicious food for breakfast each morning. i recommend trying a pork and noodle soup =P

Most of the staff speaking english is a better advantage compared to other hotels in the similar range in similar area.

It would be better for young people as it was more like a cabin.

I stay at a four-star hotel before in Singapore and I don't feel satisfied at all for that star hotel (price and value). This hotel is good for the value (for me) and we will stay at here again or still choice 81 group but in other location. Just for notice, if you will stay at this hotel please ask for room with window when you check in or if you lucky ou can get room with balcony.
- Shopping Tip : This hotel is not far from Sim Lim Tower and Bugis Junction. Just taking Bus is more easy and fast then used MRT. (MRT need to walk around 10 minutes, bus stop only few MTR from hotel).

The rooms are small but clean. Must select a location carefully, especially for a single woman.
