Surpassed my expectations.Had expected an average hotel considering the area but bed were clean and comfy, the toilets were clean. It was an adequate hotel for business travelers.Area was very centralised , abt 10 mins to Little India and a 24hr shopping mall. tons of massage parlours for those who need to unwind
adequate , good for business travelers. no frills

Firstly, we arrived at about 12 and the room was not ready yet. The people at the reception were kind enough to hold our bags while we went out to have lunch around orchard. We entered our room at about 3 pm. We got a standard room without a window. We dont expect much for what we paid anyway. The bed was really really small, so if you were thinking of stuffing 3 ppl in the room that was meant for 2, just forget about it. The room itself looked new, with LCD tv, clean sheet, and clean, bright bathroom. I belive hotel 81 was not meant for a family (the fact that hotel 81 was associated with the red light district). At the first night, we could hear sounds from the other room - the wall was as thin as paper.
Unexpectedly clean
