The Hotel 81 Bugis is conveniently situated within walking distance of the shopping hubs of Bugis Junction, Orchard Road, and Marina Square. Guests are also within walking distance of the Singapore National Library, Shaw Towers, Suntec City, Singapore Management University, and Raffles City. Guests can walk to the Esplanade and Fort Canning Park which provides local and international acts. Just a five-minute drive away is the drinking establishments of Boat Quay and Clarke Quay. There are also many food vendors surrounding the area, serving a variety of local dishes.

Location. Facilities. Free internet access. Cleanliness. Kitchen. Room layout. 'Living room' area.
Not much that I can think of. Breakfast could have been a bit more imaginative.
This was an excellent find and somewhere that I would not hesitate to stay at again. It had all the things that I needed - free no-nonsense internet access meant a great deal. For business trips, I have no need for room service, so was glad I wasn't paying for hotel kitchen and waiting staff that I hardly ever use. The air-conditioner worked perfectly (a must), the staff were polite and helpful, and it was clean.

5 minutes to MRT and department store
little bit disadvantage about the space
The location of the hotel is awesome. Just 5 minutes to Bugis MRT on foot. And there are good food courts and department store nearby. About the staff service is ok. The room and the area is clean but little bit disadvantage about the hotel’s lounge and room space. The price is reasonable for the location and the room like this.
