Hotel81-bugis is excellently situated in bugis area near shopping and MRT stations. Courteous staff. Clean room. Don't expect more than what you pay for. Room is a bit small. The hotel was well situated in bugis for shopping and public transport. Good staff, clean room a bit on the small side. Restroom is very small with shower literally on top of the toilet seat. They offer free noodles and bottled water. Cheap charge on outgoing local calls for $1.00 for a day.
Shopping Tip : Across the street is bugis junction. Specialty stores are close by as well as food shops/restaurants.

Location. Near Bugis junction. I visited Singapore on a business trip during the end of Sept. with F1 on. Hotel prices were sky-high and I eventually chose Hotel 81-Bugis for the mid-range price and location. The hotel has a bus stop just outside and you can take a bus down to little India if you want. Bugis junction is just near by, which was convenient for shopping, food and grocery.
However, Hotel 81 room is rather small. I suggest more suited for single and couple travelers. I would suggest it if you want no frill accommodation with a reasonable location.

I like the area that this hotel is in. Very near the MRT and the mid of the city. The representative are very nice and helpful. We booked the hotel for two people, but the there was only one cup of instant noodles. But never mind I know the cost in Singapore. But if the hotel can offer two, it would be perfect. This hotel is very convenience for us for travel and business appointment at Singapore, near the canteen that we can walk to have dinner or breakfast, near the shopping center, Bugis junction and easy to go to somewhere in the city and can walk to the attractive site in Singapore such as Singapore River, museum etc. Inside the room is very small but it ok because it for take a rest in short period. The quality of the air-condition is very good not too cool or warm.
Shopping Tip : Near the Bugis juction, so you can walk to shopping venues and everything else.

the serviece and location. the room`s size and price The hotel is very clean and quite although it`s in the civic centre.There are nice service and location. The door man can speak a lot of languages that you can relax and express your meaning there.But it`s a little expensive differet from another 81 hotel.If you wanna another low price and good location about 81 hotel , maybe you can choice 81 hotel- Chinatown.It will be better from 81 hotel- bugis.

Overall I do not like the hotel, although the hotel is close to many kind of activities that you might have, I think this hotel is little bit pricy compared to the other ones I had stayed in - rooms are not as clean as the others, I found hairs in the bed, and no window in the bathroom, odors had been trapped inside the room. Does not provide breakfast or other room services.

Tidy room. Attendants cordial, friendly. Rooms are not sound, easy to hear the voice of the corridor. The lack of slippers, more dust because of the floor. Expensive Internet charges. This price is based on the urban areas in Singapore are cheaper hotels, but room complete the facilities also count, if想搵Ping hotel convenient shopping, this is your first choice; but poor noise. The middle of the night guest room also room to hear the sound.
