Good location, just opposite Intercontinental Hotel Plastic beds, lots of mirrors, a picture of a naked lady on the wall and no window in std room Th location is good and if you do not book it during the F1 weekend, it should be quite well priced. This time I was not so lucky and paid USD 114.- for a room without a window. This is the price you have to pay if you want to be close to the F1 action ;-)

Good service and friendly staff. Good location too. Rooms could be cleaner. The linen is clean but the room was dusty. Good service and friendly staff. When i complained the room was very dusty , it was taken in good spirit and was cleaned immediately. The staff were always alert and friendly no matter the time of day. The location was good. Lots of makan around. Easy to catch taxi's and MRI only 15 minutes easy paced walk.
Shopping Tip : Bugis Junction only a 5 minute walk and there is a 7/11 a one minute walk away.

near city and, airport and MRT staying with hotel 81 bugis was very relaxing even though my friends told me that it was a bit noisy at night, we were very comfortable staying with the hotel it was a wonderful experience, the bathroom was kinda small but it was OK
the staff were accomodating and fun,you wont get hungry coz there's 711 accross the street and fast foods along the area, very near the MRT bugis station and in the city and in the airport
Me and my husband will deffinetly stay there again, we are looking forward to back to hotel 81 bugis soon
Shopping Tip : there's bugis junction if you want shopping and bugis street best buy ever

Location. Facilities. Free internet access. Cleanliness. Kitchen. Room layout. 'Living room' area. Not much that I can think of. Breakfast could have been a bit more imaginative. This was an excellent find and somewhere that I would not hesitate to stay at again. It had all the things that I needed - free no-nonsense internet access meant a great deal. For business trips, I have no need for room service, so was glad I wasn't paying for hotel kitchen and waiting staff that I hardly ever use. The air-conditioner worked perfectly (a must), the staff were polite and helpful, and it was clean.

5 minutes to MRT and department store little bit disadvantage about the space The location of the hotel is awesome. Just 5 minutes to Bugis MRT on foot. And there are good food courts and department store nearby. About the staff service is ok. The room and the area is clean but little bit disadvantage about the hotel’s lounge and room space. The price is reasonable for the location and the room like this.

The staff were friendly and helpful There was no seating area in the reception.
The bathroom didn't have a separate shower area.
No smoking rooms available. The hotel is in a great location - central to everything and close to public transport. The hotel staff were very friendly, helpful and patient, answering all questions and went out of their way to be accommodating.
The room however was not what I expected. The pillow cases were horrible - made out of the same material as disposable underwear!! The bathroom didn't have a separate shower area so everything got wet and there was no option of a smoking room which was not mentioned on the website.

Facilities are rather basic The Hotel is located in a very convenient district - Bugis. It is nearby the Bugis MRT station, with only 5 min walking distance. You can go travel by MRT conveniently. Besides, it is very closed to the famous Bugis Junction and several big shopping centers. On the other hand, as the hotel is targeted to 'budgeted' customers, the room price is low when compared to other hotels located nearby MRT stations. However, what you pay is what you get! The hotel room is very small, with very few space left around the bed. And, the room has an extremely small bathroom. It is difficult to shower there. Besides, the hotel doesn't provide some basic stuff, e.g., sandals, hand towels, in-room safe box.
I will still recommend the hotel to those who only need the hotel for sleeping (or short stay) only, and who consider convenience and price as imporatant factors.

The hotel is very convenient, just a bout 5 min walk to the MRT and walkable distance to the City Hall. The room is very small but clean. So overall, you pay for the convenience and a place to sleep in.

location is good! Check in and out was fast. free coffee and drinking water We can hear people talking from the hall way. The room is way too small and no windows. The hotel's location is very convenient, walking distance from a mall and alot of food courts. The room we stayed felt like a store room bec there were no windows. We can hear noises fron outside.

The location is good . They are a Bugis mall , Restaurants in walking distances , and the public transport is so much convenience..The hotel is clean and the staffs is helpful.. The hotel have to make sure that every room are in good condition..Especially the toilet . This is my first time booking a hotel room for my holidays in Singapore through agoda.com . Convenience location, helpful staff. poor facilities maintenance. the bathroom washing basin is leaking, bathroom door has poor maintenance and cause it not sufficient to stop water thus make the room (near the door) got wet.
Toothbrush provided suitable for single use, so you may need to get more than one if need brushing more than 1 time per day. And, only 1 towel per guess.
Found hair left over by previous guess(es) on bed even on second day cleaning. Bed sheet got yellow stain.
It is good if you just require a place to sleep but i think it is expensive compare service / facilities.

friendly staff, good location, nearby to bugis junction and its shopping mall, walking distance to mrt station. no breakfast provided, the toilet is too small. two-night stay at this hotel was value for money. Even the room that i stayed no window, but the room was neat and tidy. The air con was good, even the corridor was very nicely air conditioned. surprisingly, there's a dvd player in the room which i didn't expect in a budget hotel. The staffs were friendly and helpful. The most important was the location, it was so nicely located, nearby to shopping mall and walking distance to mrt station, which make me easier to travel in Singapore.

Only thing i can say to be nice is location. Small (very very small), bad beds, this is a 1 star hotel. The name "hotel 81" is misleading, this is more like a motel/hostel. Everything in the hotel is small. Beds/room and the bathroom is the size of a closet with your shower/washer/toilet. Customer service does not make efforts to make your stay better. In addition, you will see many late night guest from other rooms along with noises.

very near Platinum and Pantip shopping center, the house is neat and well care. the price is still abit high.
taxi from the hotel is also higher than normal. Tips: to catch taxi from the road and ask for going by meter.
The blanket is not so comfortable, very ichy scrachy
For those who are looking for whole sales good, Four Seasons Intl Hotel is one of the best choice. The wholesales market is just down stair or across the main road (Petchabury rd). its very convenience to go buy good and return.
The market downstair open very early, therefore you can shop many thing while waiting for the Platinum to open.
The hotel also provide the weight scale for you to check the luggage b4 u go.
Shopping Tip : Red Conner is down stair of the hotel, you can shop pull clothings.
Opposite with soi 19 Petchabury, there are on Pantip (electronics, computer mall) and Platinum fashion mall, heaps of things for you to shop.
