ok if your on budget;toiletries provided,complimntary bottled water,coffee,tea everyday,

if i have excess cash, i wont stay in this hotel ....however since im on a budget and wanted to stay closer to MRT and bus station this hotel is ok..what i dont like about staying in this hotel is the location not because it is on Red light district but the place during early morning when you go out from your hotel you are met with garbage, dirty surrounding and awful smell remnant from the night's activities from the pubs nearby.

Good services despite the budget pricing.
Near to many amenities like MRT, various types of food.

Very friendly staff in the hotel. Room are clean and welcoming.
Various types of food readily avaliable 24hrs. Transportation is a breeze to get around especially with the MRT within 10-15 mins walking distance.

easy to get food and shop 7/11 , fruits , food , tools , etc you can get whatever you want, red light zone is the the problem for my trip, i everyday go out for some sightseeing with my friends etc just hotel for sleep and shower ..
free internet.. stuff very friendly

This area is a bit noisy as it is Red light area, colourful nightlife but it is worth for money to stay here and it is very easy to get all kind of foods here just walking along the streets, plenty of food stalls and it is cheap too for the price. Just nice to stay here

Decent hotel for the price

Overall, our short stay was worth the buck. I liked the fact that we had a complimentary internet connection, which is normally charged at S$10 a night. There are a lot of tv channels to choose from. The bedsheet was not enough though. It would have been nice if they added a thicker/better bet sheet, not just a cheap kind of cloth. It didn't have a refrigerator as well. And it would have been nice if it had at least a few notepads and pen to use for jotting down some notes. But anyway, we were there to just rest, and we got what we needed. Its location was very near to a bus stop so it made it easy for us. Would come back if we had the chance.

Great Hotel, Good location, value for money

I stayed there for 1 day, but looking at comfort level there I wish I should have stayed for couple of more days. Definitely next time I visit Singapore, I will stay in Hotel 81 star again.

Well located small room but nice
near by mrt only 10 munite walk

10 munite walk from mrt, plenty of local food service almost 24 hour. night time is the crowed people.
Restaurant Tip:
Drinking water is cheaper from Automatic Machine not from 7 eleven.
