Quiet, friendly customer service. Air-cond is quite noisy & old.Water is hot for a limited time only; next to red light district.Suitable for budget travellers and family without children. Although it's near to red light district, people there won't cause you trouble if you don't disturb them. Free of charge parking bay for inhouse hotel guests but limited lots, based on 1st come 1 served.
Restaurant Tip:
A lot of great food nearby such as dim sum, roasted duck, porridge. Many convenience stores nearby.

Very Nice Hotel in the red light district

the hotel is in the red light district of singapore but it is worthy every peny as it is cheaper than the ones in the city centre. it is only a few stops from the main square in the centre and there is an mtr train station just 5 minutes walk from the hotel. there is alot of cheap food restaurant near it.

the hotel is in the red light disctict, the hotel itself is great. there is alot of food shops near it and the metro station is just 10 minutes walk if you have bags or taking it easy in the heat.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
The hotel is not far city centre

affordable and clean hotel room. office for free, internet and tv. location is not suitable for small children, but perhaps up personally at least not in our mind. somewhat public way, but easy to find, i think the best area of the hotel in 1981.

stay was okay.. nothing to rave about. i got the value for the price i paid. Lesson: if you opt for cheap hotel, expect cheap quality. overall stay was comfortable. will i stay there again? probably not.
mrt's a bit far from hotel, we always end up just getting a cab.

Bad location and unfriendly staff

When we booked this hotel we didn't know that it located in the red district of Singapore. We were scared to go out by ourselves. It was also hard to go fromt he hotel to the city center. The station was far as well.

The Hotel rooms are nice but small.

The place is good for men who likes nightlife, If your coming with family with kids best to stay in another hotel 81 location like bugis or chinatown. All in all it was a good stay.
Travel tip:
If you'd like to shop for souvenirs you can go to chinatown at temple st to get cheap t-shirts and other memorabilia.If you will be calling for cab from the hotel there's an additional fee on the cab for sgd2.50 no additional fee from the hotel.

hotel is conveniently situated within close proximity of hip and happening place. the property has easy access to the city’s public transport network allowing for swift movement with the area. the hotel is also less than two kilometers from many of the primary tourist attractions. each of the rooms comes with a series of quality amenities, including air conditioning and color tv. a 24-hour coffee shop, and lunge are available for guests’ leisure needs, whilst a fully-functioning business center can be utilized by corporate travelers.
