The hotel is situated along Geylang serai which is the Malay village.
no problem to find food as there is a big coffee shop at the same building.

Service was very friendly and cooperative, room good size, bed comfortable, clean and everything works.A large variety of food nearby. Perfect for the overnight waiting to fly out following day. Decor a little tired and it was a bit noisy from other guests coming in late, overall perfectly adequate.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

This was my second time staying at Tristar hotel, stayed there for 4 nights this time. Basically we stayed there because it was very cheap and the rooms are very spacious compared to other hotels. The bed is comfy, good to sleep on. The TV does not have too many chanels, but at least some, and a decent movie chanel. Tristar Hotel has a nice swimming pool on level 3. They do not offer breakfast, but there are eateries everywhere just a few steps away from the hotel lobby. Very cheap too. The location is pretty far from the City center, but its close to a MRT station which is in walking distance (5-10 mins). Therefore the location is not really a problem, can get anywhere pretty easily. The only thing I disliked was their housekeeping, they did not clean anything, not even the bathroom. All they do is change the towels and make up the linens. Overall pretty good value for money. Will stay there again next time

The location is great for halal food lovers. The gelling serai market has variety of halal food especially the indonesian and also the beriani singapore. Room is clean and quite big for 4 persons.

Had a full bath with a tub. The staff was helpful.

This is not the first time I am staying in this hotel. The staff are friendly, room are clean and big enough for me. Excess to taxi, bus and MRT are very easy. 24hours restaurant just next door to this hotel.
