Great place to be in!
Nice location with good transport system.

just imagine that you are taking a evening shower and after that you realize there is no towel in the bathroom. you called the front office and they said the maid will deliver soon. more than 15 minutes later, there is no towel and you are freezing cold in nude - wet and dripping! you called again the front office and the phone just keep ringing without any response. by the time you are all dry and catching cold, the maid delivered the towel to you and happily smiling without any apologies!
Nightlife Tip:
Hang around Joo Chiat for a evening drink.

Cllean hotel with all around food outlets.
Location and price are reasonable ok.

this time i was given room 405. it was by average acceptable in size and condition. but this time the room having broken down aircon and is not giving enought cooling inside the room. daily free internet access password is also troublesome. the door lock to this room was also defective and at times unable to be opened from outside but help was given fast enought to attend to this problem. overall my stay these 3 nights having two other adults family were slightly less plesant then before and all these because of defective aircon.

basically i enjoyed the stay. big room with nice bed. the pool's great. the location's perfact. but the shower's a bit uncomfortable. the men at the front desk got attitude like i owe them thousand dollars.

becareful not to get burnt in the pool~

budget hotel, basic big room, old tv, fridge, dirty bathroom, polite staff, $30 taxi fare from airport as in peak expensive travel time - just before midnight.
Restaurant Tip:
eat at lau pa sat night food market open 24hours

it is a simple room, small tv, regular bed, shower bath etc.. 5-10 minutes walk to the mrt station. near airport. many shops and restaurants surrounding the hotel.

Have been introduced by a relative and love to stay at the hotel as it is very clean and convenient, a MRT. Is just nearby to get to other parts of the city. There are a lot of halal restaurants nearby, a convenient store, shops selling Muslim outfits and hijab, fruit stall. A 24/7 restaurant is just next to the hotel that sells almost evrything from Asian to Western food. Room is clean, the hotel also has a pool, not bad for a budget hotel.

stayed there several times. the price is reasonable for singapore.
insulation of the rooms could be better. it can get noisy if the room is facing the road. can get noisy anyway since many guests seem to have the habit of shouting to each other and slamming the doors when coming back to their rooms late at night.
many food stalls next door serving indian and muslim soul food. bus stop nearby, mrt station 5 min walk. not far from the airport, too. swimming pool and free wifi.

lovely hotel!! huge Room and big clean pool!!
so close to MRT and so many eating places around at a really cheap price!! right next door! also there was a convenience store open 24-7 right next door that sold really cheap beer!!

we were served by really friendly staff which always makes for a pleasant stay straight off! we loved the huge room and big king bed and the sheets were sooo comfy!! the bathroom was big also and very modern! overall we had a lovely stay! it was so great having a shopping centre so close by and the mrt so close aswel! the pool was lovely too! i can honestly say that this place looked identical to the pictures advertised on the net! which doesnt happen very often.. we really enjoyed it great for couples and families with children! the only thing i can say against the place was the aircon didnt work too well... i guess it was a little old...but apart from that it was perfect! quiet and relaxing and such nice food at the eatery right next door! it was really a great location!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
if wanting to do many activities make sure you purchase the iventure card. it was well worth the money but get the 2 day pass atleast. we paid $79.00 for the one day pass an found it hard to do all the activities you are entitled to in one day! we were running round madly! you need atleast one day just to do the zoo and night safari, then you have the singapore flyer wheel, the river cruise, the forest adventure, underwater world etc so many to do!!! it was only an extra $20 for the second day!! but we were silly and didnt get the 2 days and once you purchase it you cannot upgrade. but definately get the iventure card you can pick up a brochure from the airport... we purchased this at liang pier in circle quay. well worth it!! it was the best experience ever!

Great location. Food Markets within walking distance and proximity to bus routes. A great base to tour Singapore.
