Funky Hotel close to China Town

Hotel Re is a funky, retro hotel situated just minutes away from China Town. The fitout is quite groovy with the entire hotel decked out in pink and purple colours. Room was pretty small but modern, clean and comfortable. The free mini bar was also a bonus. The location is also pretty good is its about a 10 minute walk to China Town although you have to walk a few hundred metres up and down a hill. All in all, very good value for money and highly recommended

Very different style of hotel. Location is not as convenience, but mini-bus is provided. I enjoyed an evening drink at the bar area over looking the hill.

first impression of the hotel is that it has a 60's kind of feel (imagine the theme of austin power's movie).
you get to enjoy free wifi and mini bar too! they even have a nespresso machine, dvd player, iphone dock! kind of a refreshing feeling on this hotel, and it is very different compared to normal hotel. for the price, i think its a steal.
overall, the hotel is not that bad and its worth considering.
the con about the hotel is that it is situated up a hill, so if you were to walk from outram park mrt, you would need to walk up the slope. apart from that, it's quite difficult to get a taxi from the hotel, but there's free shuttle bus available to and fro the outram park mrt every 20 mins (from 8am to 8pm only though).

The hotel has a funky design. The room was smaller than expected, but it has everything we need. It is clean and services are good. Free snacks, shuttle to MRT station and free wifi. Will stay at this hotel again.
Hotel Feature Tip:
There is a pathway at the back of the hotel and from there it is a short walking distance to the MRT station, Chinatown and Tiong Bahru areas. Lots of restaurants and eating options.
