kitsch design hotel with great locality

with only 1 day in singapore, i wanted good locality to an interesting area(chinatown in this case )
and not so far from the airport for not so much money! this place ticked the boxes with the added bonus of having design features that were interesting to see and use. the staff were great and the only thing that i could have wanted extra was a pool at the hotel. definitely happy with my stay there! i had been travelling for a month so it was really nice to have a comfortable room with airconditioning etc for a day.
Nightlife Tip:
The locality to chinatown was the best part of here in my opinion. Great food!

Great rooms but bad location

The rooms were clean and the concept was interesting. Other than the great rooms, there was no other facilities that interest me. There was no swimming pool and it is quite isolated. The location was very inconvenient, but they do provide shuttle services. It is only 5-10 minutes cab ride to the city area, nightclubs at Clarke Quay.

Other than the bathroom is a little smaller and the TV reception for afew channel wasn't as good (maybe only the room I was staying?) but only one phrase...

Liked the fact that they offer free items off the minibar. Location is nice and quite. Accessible by bus shuttle service between the hotel and nearest train station. Free Parking if you are driving.

we stayed one night in the city view room. great services as staff is always smiling. however, not the best location you can find. but they do provide free shuttle services to the nearest train station, which unfortunately is only one way. no complain from us since we got it at a promotional rate.
tv does have a lot of channels and hdmi able. great for staycation is you just wanna chill in bed and do nothing.
Restaurant Tip:
go to chinatown market where they have many great food at affordable price. if you dislike eating in that environment. pack it back to the hotel room.

The hotel are well-kept, room is clean and nice. Although MRT is close by but the walk is not really easy and need to climb up stairs and up slope when coming back. Hotel does provide complimentary shuttle to MRT station but only 1 way.
Every morning, the hot water is not really hot. At times, can be cold.
For the price that we paid for, it is worth.there are quite many options in Singapore to consider as well.
