Great theme hotel

This hotel is hidden behind the city. however there is a small path to link to the MRT train station. Directly situated in behind a park in which early morning you can see people running and doing exercise. Friendly staff which will help you on your needs, overall the rooms is with different retro theme. Mine was pretty decent and the bed is comfortable. Enjoy the stay in Re! definitely will visit again if they have any promo. Tried the mini bar at level 2, the golden retro sofa chair was interesting. Recommend to stay in the air-con area as the weather is quite humid outside.

This hotel is very recommended. My room has been upgraded with no additional fee. It's so clean and there are free complimentary snack instead water everyday. The internet connection is fast and it's free. The location is near the outram park mrt, and they have provided the shuttle bus also to the mrt and paragon orchard shopping centre.

hotel re is not bad of a boutique hotel. i've stayed in the superior twin room and the room was very small. do not let the pictures fool you as the room barely fitted the 2 beds with the gap in-between forming the walking aisle. however,it offers free wifi in all rooms and complimentary snacks, water and coke which is a plus. still, having a switch to turn on the heater and waiting for the water to warm up for 15 mins is an annoyance but not a big issue in tropical singapore. a bit pricey at the time of my stay for the room size though(i was told that hotel prices went up during the weekend of our stay due to an expo).
it is situated on top of a hill which isn't shown in the map. the hotel offers complimentary shuttle services from the nearby outram park mrt station but it's a tiring walk uphill.
as for the staff, they are very helpful, particularly the shuttle driver. he took us to a nearby hawker food center even though it was not part of his route.
as for the location, there's nothing much around the hotel for one to go too, although there's a small food court 5mins away from the hotel and if you go a further 5 mins, you'll reach peaple's park food court which is a huge hawker center at chinatown mrt station. the hotel is about 4-5 stops to most major shopping areas in the center of the city, including orchard road, vivo city, marina bay sands, raffles city so i guess it's a semi-convenient place. if the price were a bit cheaper, it's a good place to stay imo.

the hotel is close to the food courts in chinatown which offer a wide choice of delicious meals. the hotel is also reasonably close to tiong bahru market, which also houses 80 or so hawker stalls. there are numerous shops in chinatown which offer an incredible variety if goods, including souvenir items at very cheap prices. the hotel staff are faultless, always smiling and helpful. i also appreciated the free internet availability. and the room credit and free minibar which came with my room type. breakfast was adequate, if not spectacular. there is a free shuttle service to the nearest mrt station

hotel re is one of my top choice when i travel to singapore with limited budget. the hotel is well located not too far from orchard road- the main tourist attraction in sinagpore. room is quite small but it is comfort, tidy and comfortable. the washroom again is at the small side.

Great hotel for a stopover in Singapore

i stayed at hotel re during a overnight stopover in singapore and really enjoyed the experience. previously, i have payed nearly the same price for hotel 81 which was absolutely shocking. i would definately recommend hotel re for an cheap short stay in singapore. it is also directly outside the main areas of chinatown with lots of food and shopping available and an mrt very nearby.

when budget is not budget

we found the re hotel to be excellent value. conveniently posioned, for clarke quay, china town and the railway station. breakfast and dinner in the restaurant were very good value and staff were attentive and helful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Make sure to visit Universal Studios on Sentosa Island and use the cable car to arrive there
