Lovely hotel but require own transport

the stay at re hotel was overall not bad but own transport would be ideal as they provided free parking and as the location is not too ideal. but all this would be covered by the feeder bus service and on top of that, the service offered was excellent.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Near to Chinatown and has back entrance to the nearby Train station. Making accessibility good to any part of Singapore.

The rooms are small, the location is out of the way and it is on a hill. It is best to take a taxi to this hotel. We did not try to food. The room comes with complimentary snacks and drinks, which is nice.

i actually book a executive room but i kinda realised that the deluxe room and executive room is almost identical except for the room size. in the end i upgraded myself to a themed suite topping up the difference. the room was fantastic and totally a different experience. i like the jaqcuzzi and the water bed. the decor was very retro and really something different. only minus point is i suffer a blackout in the middle of my bathe.
Hotel Feature Tip:
The candlelight dinner was a good experience. Should try it if you stay there.

All you need
Bed was most comfortable of all beds during our 3 weeks' travel

we originally only planned to be in singapore one night and had booked a hotel at another, more expensive and apparently "more upscale" hotel. we decided to spend an extra night but no spots at the original hotel so stayed at re. re was way better, cheaper, cleaner and offered more complimentary services. the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. the rooms are brand new, the king sized bed with pillow topper and down pillows was the most comfortable of all during our 3 weeks travelling of se asia. free wi-fi (something hard to come by in singapore), air conditioning, flat screen and cable. rooms are a little small but met the requirements of our hotel needs. located just around the corner from china town and china town metro station. re has a free shuttle to the station. highly recommended hotel!
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
singapore zoo is a must: clean and modern; not depressing like some animal attractions is se asia.
singapore flyer: gives you the full perspective.
china town: a great place to roam around in the evening; tonnes of places to barter and good food.

hotel within city yet quiet and peaceful
New and clean hotel but small room

Is a very good place for couple, within cdb but on top of the hill, room is clean, peaceful environment. but is not too convenience for shopping or meal, taxi are not easy to get is peak hour, quite a distance to walk to the nearest shopping centre at people park shopping area.

Very NEAT hotel! I will come back

i really didn't know what to make of this hotel when booking, but gave it a try.. after booking in and lying on the bed i knew i would come back. very comfortable room, instant internet, larger than normal lcd tv and "complimentary" mini-bar told me that this hotel thinks outside of the square! very impressed.

I highly recommend this hotel, so much so that I booked another friend to stay. Other than a great room, large TV, innovative "complimentary" mini bar and instantly-on internet.. My partner and I sat in the bar, ordered a fantastic meal from the menu, a cocktail and watched a really good classic movie on the retro comfortable seating feeling the best we had throughout our trip in Singapore. I will be coming back! The meals were excellent, drinks a little slow, reception didn't understand my English too well but accommodated and did so with a smile, I was also greeted upon entry and exit.

the hotel is quite stylish, location may not be perfect but its good enough for us to get away from any busy life styles. the food at the coffee house is fantastic. i think all the staffs need to improve on their time taken to serve the customers ... whether it is the coffee house or the reception.
