Great location
Cheap rate for peak season, there's a mall around 10 minutes by walk

It was good to stay at this hotel...there is a shuttle bus in front of the hotel, MRT station can reach around 10 minutes walk, near for novena shopping mall and very reasonable price for new year season.
No complimentary bottle water provided, so we have to buy for water.
Shopping Tip:
You just hop on the bus in front of the hotel...and you ready to explore the singapore. Orchard road only take 5-10 minutes by bus...very near

Great location - between Newton and Novena stations, with good bus access to Orchard.
Walking distance from Newton Hawkers market which is a must!
Also - big rooms although a bit old but still comfortable.
Will definitely stay there again.
The staff are a bit unfriendly but given the price, acceptable.
The pool is ok but in the shade so cold in off season...
Has a good laundry.

we spend 7 nights in this hotel for our christmas vacation, we book through agoda.
upon checking , we waited for almost 20 minutes because there was no receptionist. We need to ask the bell boy to look for the receptionist.
Upon checking, our booking is family room because we have kids.
They given us room, and advise us that they have upgraded our room to suite, it has bigger room, i was so happy because i thought they have really ugraded us.
upon checking the room, true enough it was big but the room overall is so old, the foam in the sofa was really dissapointing, the bed has the curtain and was so dusty, the smell is terrible, the side windows are dirty, the carpet was showing its age and so dusty. I did not expect that this kind of rooom in singapore, as i know that they have a very high standard when it comes to cleanliness.
while checking the rooms , my kids starting to suffer ashma attacks because of the dust and smell, i was alarmed and ask the front desk about our rooms, we were advise that they will just clean it when we leave our room, when we returned it will be ok.
I did not agree, i demanded for a change of room, they granted our request and we were transfered to 8th flr, the room is quite small, 1 queen size and and a single bed.
We stayed there for almost 3 days on that particular room but during the span of 3 days, my kids keeps on coughing and stuffy nose, i thought it is because of the room on our first day, you will be surprised , we discovered that they have given us a smoking room.
how stupid is the people there, they have not realized the reason for the transfer is because of the dust.
So that is the reason why my kids during the span of 3 days were have all the asthma attacks and allergy.
We again approach the front desk and demanded for a room transfer again, this time, it was a non smoking room already,overall , this hotel is not ok, not enough space anymore for me to tell the whole story.

The hotel was not very impressive, did not have the features of a 4 star,though it was a family room there were no towels and crockery for a family.

Restaurant Tip:
It is near Newton Food Center which is one MRT Station away. One can find different varieties of food there.

Cool Hotel with great location

we spent 4 nights there and one thing i consider as very positive point is the location which is near the mrt (around 10 minutes walking).
the room is good and can be considered quiet as well.

Beautiful Hotel, very good location
Friendly staff, Beautifully landscaped/interior decorated for nature lovers, Resturants and 24hr Coffee shop are very good features

Everything worked in favour of us. We arrived late at night and checked in around 11pm. Front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. The Coffee shop were also live and helpful when we sat for our dinner around midnight!
We did our excursions using Novena MRT station which is only 10 mins walk from the hotel.

I was happy to be given a triple sharing room with a queen-sized bed and a single bed for 3 adults. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was well maintained and clean too. It would have been great if the buffet breakfast were included as part of the package for the price paid.
