We did enjoy our stay at Ibis Singapore Bencoolen. Location is great. Service is good in the restaurant. Nice and clean. Except we experienced the shower water blokage problem. The shower water going down very slowly. We felt like it was going to flood the room during shower but luckily it went down slowly after we finished shower. Might need a plumber to take a look? Anyway, we would definately chose to stay there again next time we go to Singapore.

good for solo travellers and couples. check-in was easy and breezy. room is not big but a good-sized and comfortable one. i like how the wifi was an instant access in the room and i didnt have to ask for it. the interiors are sleek and modern. hotel is near the bugis mrt station. there was also a bus stop in front of the bldg.

I stayed at Ibis Bencoolen before and already no its a no frills hotel in central of Singapore. It was relatively an attractive rate available. No toiletries except for bath shampoo. Small size room reflective of Ibis brand any where like Europe.
Check in and out can take a while at the counter.

this is my second time in this hotel. easy to get taxi from the lobby. walking distance to business district on one side and shopping on the other side.
the hotel room rate should include breakfast in the room rate. need not be elaborate. just fruits, bread / cereal, milk , coffee should be sufficient. the restaurant does have a buffet breakfast for which i felt for business traveller in a hurry cannot do justice with the spread.

we stayed at the ibis at bencoolen and were very impressed. it's just a short walk from the mrt station. the hotel is new and modern and has a nice feel to it.
Restaurant Tip:
The local food court near by is fantastic and cheap!

It was a pleasant stay at this hotel. Check-in was fast, staff were friendly, and rooms were well equipped for a business traveller. However, having an in-room ironing facility would be an advantage.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
There are departmental stores nearby the hotel. You will also get to see an IT Mall, Sim Lim, a short walk away. Located close to Bugis MRT is a plus for easy and convenient transportation in Singapore.
Last but not least, there is the Kwan Inn Temple located very close to the hotel.
