Suggest you have shuttle service to Orchard Row regularly for guests on the hour. Most hotels do this, including your other other hotel at Novena.

always enjoy my stay at ibis bencoolen. it is located in an area that is not as bus as other tourist areas. the rooms are small but clean and basic amenities are provided.
i would not recommend this hotel to a person who wants to relax and lock up in their room. this hotel is for people that are wanting a clean room, safe environment and decent place to sleep. i never spend more than 7 hours in the room so i know if fits my needs.

very close to Little India,Bugis st markets and electronic shops. Walking distance to local transport. Variety of food shops to try local dishes. When delayed in Frankfurt airport prompt email from the hotel was excellent. Still greeted well at front desk at 4am.
Shopping Tip:
Check for food standards/ cleanliness at food stalls by looking for the letters A and B that are supplied by the authorities. Food stalls with an A had a higher standard when when checked.

Clean modern hotel with convenient location

The hotel is very clean with a modern feel. The staff is very friendly. The rooms are small, but quite nice. A nice surprise was how fast the Wireless LAN was, probably the fastest internet access I've had in a hotel.
The location of the hotel is very convenient, within walking distance from Bugis Shops (forgot the name of the mall). But two nice shopping centers with good food and plenty of nice shops, as well as an MRT station.

Hotel is near to city central with public transport easily accessible. Room is a little bit small but comes with free wifi, a small fridge and safe box. Hotel is within walking distance to some major shopping centres and plenty of local foods around available.
