Near Bugis MRT station.
Near shopping malls Old Hotel. No safe inside the room.
Cigarette smell in a no-smoking floor It's our 2nd time to stay in this hotel. We liked the location and convenience of staying in this hotel, that's why we came back. Although the hotel is quite old, over-all it's ok. The price is reasonable too. The hotel staff are friendly and accomodating.We will definitely come back to this hotel.
Shopping Tip : Near market, Bugis junction shopping mall, Bugis Village. Textile stores, also money changer just beside the hotel.

old building and the entrance is difficult to find the best thing about this hotel is the location, walking distance to MRT, Bugis Junction etc. the lobby looks old but the room is comfortable and the window view is beautiful.

I really love bellman there, very very friendly & also the receptionist. Room was clean. The area was fantastic! 3mins to Bugis MRT station and very close to Raffle hospital. I decide to travel to Singapore again this Aug. 2009 and Im sure I will choose Golden Landmark for my 4 days staying. TV Programs were not good. If you need a nice place to stay, best area to join and amazing staffs to be served; choose Golden Landmark.

Near train station and shopping places Cigarette Smell in the bedroom Very convenient to go around Singapore when you stay in this hotel. The Bugis MRT Station is just 2 blocks away. The Hotel is near a market and some shopping malls. Money changer is just outside the hotel. And if you want to buy textile, there are stores just across the street. The staff are friendly. They gave us what we requested for...connecting rooms with 2 twin beds.

- Very near the Bugis MRT, the Bugis Junction and Sim Lim Square.
- A lot of good food in the Bugis area and the Arab Street.
- A very nice swimming pool for relaxation.
- Very good value for money with its large and clean room compared to other hotels of the same price in Singapore. - Process at the reception is very slow though the receptionists work very hard.
- Internet in the hotel is very slow. This is not my first time to Singapore, but this is the first time I stay at Golden Landmark Hotel. The hotel looks quite premium and service attitude of all staffs here are good. The hotel is walking distance to the Sultan Mosque the opposite of which are some Malay and Indian restaurants with very delicious food. Also walking distance from the hotel are the Bugis Street night market and the Bugis Junction. Specially, opposite of the Bugis Junction on North Bridge Road are small streets with a lot of eateries. I tried some restaurants there and found that they were very delicious and value for money too.
Travel tip : The hotel is just in the opposite of Raffles Hospital, which is very convenient for those who travel to Singapore for medical treatment.

I would like to share with you about your hotel facilities. I got the best services from your serivce people and satisfied. I really got pleasure with your hotel facilities and the near places i.e temple, airport, etc are walkable distance and swimming pool, sports ground and gym equipments are very convenient and satisfied.

This hotel is cheap and it may be good value for money for those who just want a place to stay! Although not as convenient as other hotels in Orchard, few shoppings can still be done around the area - Bugis. Restaurants are easily located and MRT station just a distance away. Not recommended for single ladies and for those who want to enjoy a weekend away holiday.

The hotel is very near to the famous Zam-Zam resturant serving Murabak Singapore. It's also within a short walking distance to Bugis MRT and Bugis junction. Service is prompt and staff is very helpful. The toiletries could be better. I love the hotel location. It's very near to everything and most important, just a 5 mins walk to MRT. The area is not that busy and surrounded by shady trees, making the walk to MRT very pleasant and relaxing. If you are a muslim, this is a very good place to stay as it's very near to a lot of Halal restaurants and has a mosque nearby (Masjid Sultan)
The rooms are newly refurbish and very comfortable. It has a gym and pool and a very nice deck to chill. The service is excellent. I send a few items for laundry and expected that it will be send back to me on the next day. Surprisingly i got my stuff back by 6pm on the very same day. Efficient!
Shopping Tip : I found that Bugis Junction has most of the small shops found in Orchard Road. So there's no need to go all the way to Orchard. Shopping at Bugis Junction is as fun as in Orchard.

Great location, complimentary on-site parking with validation, overall value for the money poor customer service, carpeted floor surfaces need replaced The hotel location is great, and is close to Bugis MRT station, shopping centers, food courts and restaurants. The overall condition of the hotel is good, and the room was comfortable and clean. The outside pool area was beautiful and well maintained. The only thing that was unacceptable was the poor customer service at check in, with a 40 minute wait despite only 2 customers in the queue ahead of me. Despite the line of customers, there appeared to be no sense of urgency on the part of hotel staff to speed up the process as only one staff person was made available. Overall I was satisfied and will plan on staying here again.

Golden Landmark Hotel is located in convenient place, near to subway and not far away from town; Singapore is rather small in size and people do not need to stay in town center, where the hotel is rather expensive.The hotel is ideal for the tourist or business people who look for money saving but clean hotel.

Very good swimming pool.
Pleasant staff. Unable to control setting of the air conditioning. Following travel problems it was pleasing to arrive at the Golden Landmark and book in quickly and easily.
The hotel is located very conveniently on the edge of Chinatown and it's multiple attractions.
The room was clean and spacious, the only problem being that we seemed unable to control the air conditioning.
The staff were friendly and helpful. When we needed to find the best way of getting somewhere there was always someone around who knew the answer.
Altogether a very pleasant introduction to tha Malasian peninsula.
Hotel Feature Tip : Instead of a standard breakfast try having a snack by the pool.

near to the famous & popular shopping districts around singapore eg bugis, suntec city, next to a proper hospital in case of emergancy and provides proper hotel services hard to connect wireless internet connection this hotel is one of the best hotels i have stayed in singapore due to the location and places of interest around the hotel. the hotel is also equipped with proper facilities such as swimming pools, public telephones, room services, several restaurants to choose from and internet services which sometimes is really hard to connect to the wireless.

The hotel is near the nice cultural places that is uniquely Singapore. All the things that I noted on my request upon booking were given to me. Whenever I asked to make the room, the toiletries were not replenished. It's okay coz we brought our own. ;) It was my first time in Singapore and first time to stay in a hotel for more than a day/ or overnight. I was expecting that the hotel is just a typical standard hotel, but it's close to a deluxe hotel, maybe because of its old English interior. I was lucky that my package came with a free breakfast, which is also nice! Our room has the perfect view of the city, and the pool! I can even stay in the hotel and never bother to explore Singapore! We came in ahead of check in time, and their baggage service is so efficient that we just left the baggages so that we can eat lunch and by the time the room is ready, the bellman just sent our stuff to our room. The room is clean, spacious. The only downside is that there are only 2 elevators.
Restaurant Tip : The second floor of the Golden Landmark Plaza has few cafeterias which serves food at US$2 per meal. ;)

have the free-wifi rather than Golden Landmark!

friendly staff and situated near city so it was very convenient to move around. nice swimming pool. the cleaner knocked the door so many times to ask cleaning up which was annoying. they should wait until the guests aren't in the room. generally it was pleasant to stay there with convenient facility but i'd like to ask to be more considerate for guests when they are in the room.
