Good location right next to Arab street and Bugis. Good pool and a good breakfast.

For some people, not me it took a little long to check out.

The Landmark Village Hotel is a great hotel in a great location. Easy for shopping, but then all of Singapore is good for that, good for the thieves market which is just up the road and good for access to Bugis station to get around Singapore. The hotel does a great breakfast and has a great pool area with bar and eatery. The hotel also has a few restaurants asscoaited with it and the Indian one is excellent. All in all a great hotel in a greta location. The hotel is in the process of being updated, You wouldn't know as they is no discturbance. Ask to have a refurbished room at high level for great views.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Go down the fountain in Suntec village and walk three times around the founatin of wealth and make your wish. There is also a show and you can write messages on the water curtain and certian times on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays

Close to MRT station is one of the most important criteria for me when choosing a hotel. The nearest station is Bugis Junction which takes only approx 5 min walk. Looking for food? you can find varieties of middle east food at Arab Street just right across the hotel, I enjoyed the Nasi Briyani and Prata Bread at Zam Zam Resto. Overall, location wise it is good for a change when you are tiring of Orchard areas and looking for a peaceful/non busy district.

Hotel condition is mostly worned out already, room is damp with a bad odour. I bought an electric room refreshner to make it better during my stay. It is a bit dissapointed with the price I paid for this hotel. Renovation is badly needed also to replace the old/outdated furniture and bathroom fixtures, then this would make it equal to the price. Somehow, the good thing is they provide a clean (real white & soft) towels and bed linen.

The hotel is located in a good quite area, peacefull but yet very close to MRT and Bugis Junction Mall. You also can enjoy the walk along Arab Street with its shops selling carpets, textile, clothes and other goods/knick knack imported from Saudi Arabia. The hotel itself is not a fancy one at all, in fact it is considered worned out, need for renovation also replace its old furniture/decoration. The good thing is that they provide a clean and white towels & bed linen that made me relieve during my stay.

Restaurant Tip : Try the middle east food resto nearby the hotel, they are really good...

Excellent location and enjoyed the views from our rooms. very handy for tube and food markets. The pool is fantastic. Room large & tastefully appointed compared to some and comfortable beds.

First in best dressed at breakfast. Check in times didn't fit flight arrivals but were ok once I called ahead to inform.

I would deffinately stay at the Landmark again. I was travelling with my children of 5 and 6 and found it to be good value for money. We were chiefly interested in the pool which was excellent. Friendly staff, good location, and about SIN$16 for taxi from airport.

Good size hotel in a convenient location great swimming pool and good size rooms

Poor level of customer service. Restaurant is low quality

This hotel could be so much better if they would only upgrade the restaurant and the bar. There is no comfortable bar only one which seems more like a night club. The foyer area has very few seats. The main redeeming feature is the great swimming pool. The Indian restaurant is good value.

close to bugis junction. clean room.

the front desk is not very helpful.

This hotel is close to MRT station (Bugis). easy to access to Sei-yu, bugis village, and bugis junction. Around there you can enjoy murtabak at singapore zam zam which is just in front of salutan musk.

Service, Quietness, Close to Suntec Exhibition centre

Internet card allow a single log in

During my staying at Golden Landmark I had the chance to consider the convenience of this hotel comparing to others, may be more luxurious, but certainly less comfortable in terms of location. in fact I was there or a Trade Show and the main Exhibition Area called Suntec City is really close as well as Sim Lim Square, a multi floor shopping centre dedicate to electronic and media. Also the distance from the airport is only 30 minutes driving and the Taxi driver never try to steal you money as often happen in other countries. Nice play to stay and to do business.

close to mrt, little india and arab street areas, clean, nice pool area

a bit old-fashioned

a really nice and huge business hotel, the staff is very friendly and informative. the hotel is now becoming a bit old-fashioned but because of its close location to the mrt, little india or arab street, this is not so necessary. even raffels hotel is in a 10min walking distance. its a good choice for the money you pay.

Nice Rooms. Really has 4 star looks & feel. Just a short (5 minutes) walk to the Bugis MRT and Bugis Junction Mall.

If you arrive via Bugis MRT Station, the hotel entrance it's not that clearly marked. If you arrive by taxi, it's a different matter. Altho it's only a short walk, I wish there's an underground tunnel to the hotel! Like the one in Orchard. Is it asking too much?

I stayed here the first time about 5 years ago. While there is no great leap in terms of quality, the hotel is definitely getting better. The staff are more polite, the rooms look and feel are definitely a lot nicer. Great hotel if you want a comfy hotel, but don't wanna pay expensive price.

Restaurant Tip : There's a lot of food stalls and restaurants at the Bugis Junction nearby. The food court is at the 2nd floor. The one in the basement (near the escalator to the MRT) are mainly for take away, and more pricey.

This was a fantastic location. We got everything we wanted - it is very close to Raffles Hospital and Arab Street. The hotel has an Indian flare to it and the decor made us feel like we were in a different place and time. The staff are very hospitable and accommodating. They made us feel at home.

no balconies; dark in color

We enjoyed our stay at Golden Landmark. We had chosen it because it was a block away from Raffles Hospital and it was on Arab Street. When we walked in, we immediately felt like we were in India. Though it was dark in color, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. When I needed to extend my stay, the lady at the reception desk suggested that I make a reservation over the Internet since it would cost a lot more if she booked it. They were always willing to give directions to any place we needed to go. We will stay there again when we are in the area. For people who like Arab and Chinese food as well as easy access to Singapore shopping, it's an excellent location.

Restaurant Tip : Arab Street and the surrounding area has fantastic Arabic and Chinese food!!

The Landmark is centrally located, " Arab Quarter " is around the corner, Indian Quarter is close by.

due to the age of the hotel, it,s getting into the " Years ".

Again, the Landmark Hotel is very centrally located. About 200 meters is the subway, Bugis Street with the night market is about 250 meters, Arab Street is around the corner and Indian Quarter with all the shops and restaurants can be reached in about 10 minutes walk. The rooms are really a bit run down and needs refurbishment. The personnel tries to be friendly and helpful. Internet In-room connection is quite expensive, whereby in the area are Internet Cafes.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : The Indian Department Store " MUSTAFA " is close by. This Store has almost everything, very crowded, cheap and very interesting.

Location near to MRT subway. Many local restaurants nearby. Friendly staff.

Hotel reception area rather old fashioned. Quality of breakfast poor.

The hotel is centrally located close to Bugis Village shopping centre, with MRT subway and local buses close by. There are plenty of local restaurants close by, and the buffet at the Indian restaurant on the 5th floor is good value. The breakfast on the otherhand is not so good. The deluxe rooms have been updated and are comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful.

The hotel is so close to Little India and right on Arab street where there is great cheap food and lots of colourful things to buy. IT is a short walk to get to the MRT rail system which allows you to go anywhere for a cheap price.

Maybe the hotel needs some new carpet and we are non smokers and the hallway outside our room smelled a bit like smoke as we think people may have been smoking in the fire escapes and hallways?. It would be good if it was a non smoking hotel.

WE really enjoyed our stay at the golden landmark in Singapore. We are a family of 3 ( one daughter 11 years old.) We found the staff very helpful with any request we had. The room was cleaned every day and looked fresh. The breakfast was very good and had a variety of Asian and Western foods which were different each morning. The entry to the hotel is very pleasant, cool and open with a lovely big fish pond.We loved how close it was to Arab street with all of the carpet and fabric sellers and just a short walk from Little India where the atmosphere was so colourful day and night and the food was excellent and cheap. We will stay again at Golden landmark in Singpore as we think its a very good hotel in a great location.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Close to MRT and this gets you anywhere in Singpore. Close to Little India and Arab street and the Golden Mosque.

location to shopping, fair rate, walking distance from MRT bugis and bugis shopping complex, service ok

food options in hotel limited

The hotel offers value for money rate and location is accessible via MRT but getting taxi is difficult during peak hours. It is also walking distance to Arab St (for shopping and sight seeing) and Bugis Village for bargains. It is also close to Indian Street and a short taxi ride to Singapore Flyer. There is 24 hour convenient store across the street. Room amenities ok but limited cable subscription, and there's no provision for toothbrush and comb.

Shopping Tip : Arab St caters to tourist hence prices are high so check out Bugis Village for bargains. Also, Bugis Junction is a nice air conditioned shopping mall with similar shops that you can find in Orchards.

Close to the train station and bus stops

The minute bathrooms

The hotel rooms where a fair size but the bath rooms where so small that if you where standing in the bathroom you had difficulty closing the door. The rooms where clean but a bit old.Price wise i think for Singapore was not to bad.

Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Dont go to Sentosa because you will spend more then half of your time queing for everything. There are to many people on Sentosa and i would not like to see what will happen when the casinos open next year.Use the trains and busses they are excelent.
