singapore hotels can be very expensive so when i saw a good deal on this one i grabbed it and we were pleased with our room. the room was 34 sq m which was why we picked it room and bathroom were both good and we had a fantastic view from the 19th floor. finding the entrance the first time can be tricky. exit bugis mrt and walk up to the traffic lights. cross over and carry on in the same direction till you come to the next side street where you turn right and walk 10 metres. immediately on your right is the entrance. take the escalator to the 3rd floor lobby.

Choose the hotel for its close proximity to Bugis MRT station and there are numerous bus lines that go by the station.
A good 3 stars hotel (Not 4 stars) with reasonably good service, though a tad old.
Within walking distance to Bugis Junction where there are shopping center and eateries.
Travel tip:
to save on transport, take the mrt from airport to bugis mrt station look for exist b2; cost around s$2.90 per person.
taxi fare would cost around s$19.00 or more.

Room was smelly, carpet was dirt.

The hotel was old and smelly and the room was not clean. Carpet was dark. It's not qualified for 4 stars hotel. However, location is good. Closed to MRT.

80's style hotel in need of renovation

The hotel is 80's style and in need for a total renovation. The room is quiet large but shows its age. Eventhough However the hotel ocation is quiet central and only minutes walk to Bugis Junction where you can find all the actions.
Another note is that it is very difficult to get a taxi from the hotel as the main lobby is not on the main street. It took me almost 45 minutes to get a taxi in front of the hotel.

Small room but not to 4 star standards. Not a good value for money but in singapore all is expensive . Indian restaurant for buffet was ok. Overall Ok for 1- days stay.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
universal studio can not be missed.

No hospitality and no smile hotel
Location and the smell of cigarettes in the room

The reception staffs did not smile nor greed us when we arrive, there is no smile or hospitality except for the housekeeping staffs. I did not expect this bad service from a 4 stars hotel.
So arrogant towards the guests.
