Great location
good location with big bathroom
7.3
10 minutes walking distance to Marina Bay Sands, many shopping malls around the hotel and they are all connected. There are lots of food courts close to Hotel. In short, Hotel is in great location. But the facilities in the room are old, the repair service is slow, we had to call manager couple times and wait more than 20 minutes to get repair man to come to our room to fix the backed-up toilets.

Only good for tourists looking for a bargain
room view from the 15th floor was okay.
9.3
1)room service was good.
2)however, guests were not accorded complimentary parking throughout their period of their stay.
3)interior of the room need a refurbishing as out-dated.
4)standard has dropped since my last visit, some years back.

the room was clean n tidy.the size of d room was enough for 3 adults with 1 extra bed,but d cost of it was a little big too high.the hotel links to d shopping mall is a little big complicated.it has provide free shuttle bus to resort world sentosa in an interval of half an hour.we do enjoy staying there for 3 nights but one thing that dislike me is we cannot buy for 2 day breakfast only.we do not want buy d travel back day breaskfast as we leaving earlier in d morning.
Restaurant Tip:
we enjoy all d food nor matter where we go.

Lovely hotel and service with a smile

The hotel is licated in city with easy access to amenities. The staff are friendly and the room is spacious. It is located near the Chinese New Year Bazzar and near by many eateries. There is a huge shopping mall and convention centre near by. The hotel is also within a shooping complex. Great hotel and great stay.

Okay hotel, friendly staff
Professional staff, good location
6.7
In the evening I could not decide what kept my young children in the room from sleeping: the constant noise of the traffic outside, or the singer of the band in the open area, who we could still hear in our room on the 11th floor. The isolation of the room was terrible. Furthermore they charged a ridiculous high price for an additional bed!!
Maybe a good choice for people enjoying the nightlife, but definitely not for families with young children..

The hotel is conveniently located on the north shore of Marina bay, you'll be able to see the marina bay view and the famous Marina Sands from the balcony of your room, but do remember request the room with the view, because not all the rooms have such a view.
The hotel is a few minutes walk from the city hall and esplanade MRT station, so its very easy to hop on the subway which will take you to literally everywhere in Singapore. The room is quite big, and the bed is fairly comfy, bathroom is huge and clean.
If you love delicate Chinese food, you gotta try one of its hotel restaurants on the 4th floor called beach blossom which has won many awards.
Overall, I had a good time staying there, the staff is reasonably warm and helpful, would recommend it for your next visit to Singapore.
Travel tip:
The best way to get to the hotel from the airport: If you travel alone, would recommend to take the MRT from the Changi airport and get off at city hall station which is on the same line. But if you travel with families, better to get a cab which will only cost you around $15 during daytime and $20 at night plus airport pick up fee.

Great location but room decor is abit outdated
Proximity to Marina Square and Bay Sands
7.3
the staff at marina mandarin was friendly and helpful. the room was clean and tidy though a bit old as compared to other hotels in the vicinity.
parking was a problem, uless it is valet parking which we used,
$8 per day.
one sore point was that we were told that we were entitled to a 20% discount formeals at aquamarina or atrium lounge. we tried to eat at aquarina but was fully booked on 23 evening, so we had dinner at atrium. told staff to book lunch on our last day and was told there would be a 20% discount.
when we did the checkout and then proceeded to have kunch at aquamarine, we were charged the full rate and the reason given was then we had already checked out by then and all discount had to be charged to the rooms.
this ruling is unacceptable as it will definitely deter hotel guests from patronising aquamarine, which otherwise provide good food and service. regretably, it was a good holiday marred by an unpleasant ending.

The hotel looks big hotel, but the toilets has not been cleaned when I came in. The TV remote does not work and even we cannot change manually since no channel button in the TV. We also cannot request late check out even only 30 minutes or one hour. Hotel near with Suntec Mall and Marina Square that we can look for some food easily
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Sightseeing is easy, we can take Hippo Bus for City Sightseeing and Heritage sightseeing at Suntec Mall near the Hotel. Also can choose river sightseeing
