Good place, beautiful atrium, great breakfast. Staff weren't that friendly, room was small considering the hotel's price and reputation. This was a good hotel, but not on par with some of the other excellent five star hotels in Asia in terms of value for money. Bangkok, KL, Siem Reap, some cities in Indonesia offer some spectacular places for this sort of price. Still, for Singapore where there are some terrible and expensive options this was a pretty good place.
Restaurant Tip : The Esplanade restaurants are okay, but better value can be found in some of the other parts of the city.

Efficient, friendly staff. Loved the TV, but not a fan of the remote control as there are no numbers on it!!
Loved the idea of having birds singing in the morning. Excellent! old fittings. beam of the bathroom door was coming off! Overall, stay was good, but could tell that the hotel needs some refurbishment. Otherwise, it's excellent value for money. Not a big fan of the swimming pool cuz it's too small. Had better stays at better hotels such as Conrad for the same price WITH BREAKFAST!! In summary, won't return to Mandarin, not because it's not a good hotel, but there are much better deals out there!

We only had one day to enjoy Singapore. The location of the hotel was perfect for us as we were able to walk to the Raffles Hotel and enjoy some lunch there. From there it was convenient to walk and enjoy all the amenities offered at Orchard Rd. and nearby areas. Coming back to the hotel we enjoyed the sense of fun that the hotel exhuded, tood advantage of its great swimming pool and had a fantastic dinner at one of its restaurants where locals were celebrating some pre-Christams parties. All in all the ambience, the location, the food and the services at this hotel were most pleasant. Loved the singing of the live birds in the morning. They have some exotic "singing birds" in cages around the hotel and it was a pleasure to hear them singing in the hotel.

The Hotel was very comfortable and well located. It provided excellent service and the rooms were as advertised very satisfactory. The breakfast buffet offered a huge selection of food that would satisfy anyones taste. When you left the room the aircon comes on and even though you turn it to a hot setting it always seems to be cold. Overall the hotel was excellent and I would happily return. Intially we upgraded our room when we arrived so we could have a more comfortable room and have the breakfast buffet. After a problem with the air con and the safe we decided to revert back to our previous booking. However, the Duty Manager insisted we stay in our room and he waived the fee. Additionally they provided gratis a delicious cake which arrived a little late and to make up for it they provided a gratis bottle of wine. This was very pleasing as whenever you go away there are problems, but thid hotel addressed them to ensure the customer left glowing.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : This hotel was well located, so it was easy to get around, 5 mins from MRT, very central and it was really pleasant to walk around there. It was nice and quiet, so you could feel relaxed, perfect for a person or couple trying to get away.

One of the best 5-star hotels I've been at, very modern design and interior. The room totally meet our expectations. The seaview didn't meet our expectations, mainly because of a lot of construction activities in the harbor area. However, we got a city view room instead - and the skyline was quite amazing. Laundry services are very expensive. All in all a higly recommendable hotel with fair room rates compared to other Singapore hotels of similar quality. We had a few problems with room service (only food), however the staff is friendly and professionel - and ready to correct with no discussion. If you want a nice place at fair rates, Marina Mandarin is a very good choice.

The room was really nice.
The reception who was attending us was unfriendly. We stayed on the 18th floor.
Room 1824 to be exact.
Its really close to the elevator, but yet we found the quiet surrounding we were looking for.
We needed the rest after doing the Singapore marathon down the street and much needed the rest.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Esplanade and Suntech is right across the street.

Premier room was sensational - large, bright, extremely well appointed, clean and quiet. Balcony was a plus. Check-in/check-out quick, easy with courteous staff. Great ambience. Excellent swimming pool and outdoor relaxtion area. Gym stays open 24 hours. Female singer with piano accompianment in the extensive fourth floor foyer was a lovely touch. Would thoroughly recommend this hotel for business travellers, families and romantic getaways.

Personal and Friendly service, especially generous arrangement after checkout idel time. Lack of treadmill in gym. Need small in-room golfswing drive range with screen in the future. Excelllent location close to Suntec convention center, where I had a sustainable energy meeting.
After meeting, I spent a wonderful time for shopping. Was not easy to find close cultural attraction place nearby.
Shopping Tip : Suntec and Marina Square and lots of good place for shopping

Two major malls connected to the hotel from the fourth floor is a delight to the shopper.Friendly staff and the ambience impressive. No complimentary breakfast for the high price they were charging it is a negative point. Everytime you come back after a long walk from the mall and enter the hotel from the third floor,you have to climb several steps to reach the 4th floor to reach the hotel lobby or your room,which is a pain indeed.They should have provided an elevator there.
Travel tip : try to find a deal on agoda.iam more than happy with this site.keep it up.

Everything that is done is done with 100% professionalism and courtesy. The buffet is generally very good with plenty of choices, the 'cooked as requested' dishes are especially good. Our only grumble is that the 'seafoods' were tastless, probably as a result of over chilling, The beautiful Scampi Prawns and Crabs were without any taste at all. Our stay in your wonderful hotel was the highlight of our year. We have been travelling for sevelal months, visited many countries, stayed in many places.....yours by far the best

Restaurant Tip : To European visitors the thought of 'street food' at $3. per meal may seem best avoided.
BUT. wherever we travel we try the local 'life in the street' Singapore, street food is the very best!
In most cases as good as if not better than the established 'normal' restaurants. Try it for yourselves.

Location, Efficient Staff, Size of rooms Turn down service was a tad early This hotel is in a superb location, with Suntek City shops nearby and easy access to the MRT and Raffles City via the subway. With ample prior warning of my early arrival (09.00am), the a room was made available within the hour of check in.
Staff were friendly and helpful. The property was clean and service was efficient. Will be returning in future and recommend this property to any traveller.
Restaurant Tip : The Makansutra food stalls at Gluttons Bay for late supper - delicious!

Prompt attention given by staff on request for shaving kit and ice. The room was well appointed and maintained. Am however disappointed that a commercial spa has taken over the steam and sauna. There is no jaccuzzi too. The gym is now is a small windowless room, quite unexpected from a hotel with such stature. Good price from agoda.com

Rooms are well maintained; Friendly service; Hotel is well located within the Marina Bay area with good amenities. The bathroom is small for 2 person and the mattress needs to be plushed up. The hotel is well located within the city centre at the Marina Bay area. It is part of an integrated development comprising of a retail mall and entertainment centre. We were spoilt for choice when it comes to food and beverages. After dinner, we took a stroll along the Singapore River to enjoy the breeze and to the Garden City and its blend of modern skyscrapers and historical buildings. Shopping is great with the Marina Square, Suntec City and Raffles City all within a short walk. It is an ideal place to stay.
Hotel Feature Tip : There is a side door connecting the hotel to the heart of the shopping mall without having to take the lifts down to ground floor to access to the shops.

beautiful reception and atrium area, very impressive, great location, very helpful service room was a little run down for a 5 star hotel, carpets worn and bathroom tiles a little old. Unfortunately only had king bed available on a smoking floor which we agreed to take. We enjoyed our stay at Marina Mandarin, the staff were helpful and friendly at all times. The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside with the atrium. The location of the hotel was also great, right near the Singapore Flyer and just a short drive to Orchard Rd. Bed comfortable. Very happy with the deal we got through Agoda for this booking, great saving and will definitely book again.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : singapore flyer only a 5 minute walk away, suntec shopping centre across the road and marina square shopping centre right next door.
