Great hotel, fantastic staff

although i arrived way before the 'normal' check-in time, the very friendly staff gave me a room straight away. which was just fantastic, specially because i had arrived after a 13-hour longhaul flight and wanted a shower and a good sleep.
the view from my room was awsome, specially with the national day celebrations going on. what a bonus!
having stayed twice at the marina mandarin within one month, i will definitely want to stay there again next year.
also, great shampoo/conditioner etc from l'occitane in the bathroom - just fantastic

Great location but rooms are old and dirty.
Location is good, just next to the MRT. Very convenience for shopping, dinning and sight-seeing.

We've found that the room is dity.(Esp. washroom). Bathtube can't use. But the room is big. The location is great that we can walk to the flyer and Art-Science Museum. Mrt just next to the hotel.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
Walk to flyer and Art Science Museum is just 15 mins.

Excellent hotel
Great service; staff were efficient and polite; impressive looks; quality.

The hotel is in a convenient location for business, shopping and sightseeing.
Everything was clean, well-presented and efficient.
I enjoyed having a large seating area to read a book or enjoy a drink. These areas were spacious and well serviced.
I appreciated having the pool and gym easily accessible.
The views from my room were good.
The coffee was not good, and was overpriced.

Great place, zero catering for Coeliacs

Make sure there is no national celebration preparations on the dates you wish to stay. On the 19th floor where we stayed, we had a grandstand view of the full dress rehearsal for Singapore's National Day parade. A full four hours. Fabulaous performance, but the noise was deafening, even the part rehearsal on the day we arrived, very tired and only wanting to sleep. No way! A room as offered on the other side of the building, but after 5 weeks of living out of suitcases, not wishing to pack and unpack again, the offer was refused.
My wife suffers from Coeliac disease. That is, she must be Gluten Free. The only restaurant advertisd in the hotal which could have possibly catered for her had closed 3 months previously, but was still advertised in the room information and lifts etc. We spoke with the head chef of the main restaurant, and it was obvious he knew nothing about Gluten. We eventually found suitable food in a nearby Mall. Not good enough for a "top" hotal.
Finally, we felt obliged to call the desk at 11.30 p.m. to complain about the piano and singers entertainment going on on the 4th floor lounge area. On the 19th floor, we could hear every word and sound quite clearly. Either the rooms need more sound insulation, or performances finish at an earlier hour.

Quiet place and nice decoration, good location and convenience to travel to any place. Pleanty of lifts and quick access. A shopping mall is next door with food court and a lot of restaurants.

Modern and high class facility. Good service.
Nice rooms, and great location. The swimming pool is a "must"!

The service was perfect. We got a high floor room (50), Early check in, and late check out. The whole procedure took just a few minutes.
Hotel Feature Tip:
After checking out you can ask to leave a swimming pool pass, for the rest of the day.
