Going for Grand Sales is still a good idea but you might need to check the weather as the rain had been pouring during our stay on May 31 to June 1. Anyway, the Rice Cake Festival is a plus that you should not miss during that period of time.
- Restaurant Tip : The Chatter Box, famous for its chicken rice has been moved to the top floor but the taste is still good. Try the lobster singaporean noodle which comes with a big chunk of lobster - high quality and fresh ones which are mouthwatering. Yummy.

I had a chance to deal with two of the staff personally, one at the concierge desk, Mr.Sourav Biswas, and the other was a bell boy, Mr.Sabu. Both these men were very helpful and courteous, people like these are a great value to any establishment.

This hotel was good in all aspects but I rated it about average because I expected more from a 5 star hotel. Oh, I had a late check out and while I was still in the room a hotel staff person walked into the room without knocking to check the mini-bar.
- Travel tip : When traveling any distance, the MRT is easy and a lot cheaper than the taxi service.

It is an exellently located hotel in the middle of Orchard Road very convenient for business and leisure travelers.
- Restaurant Tip : Restaurant across the street at the Park Hotel, is one of the best restaurants in the area.

inspite of the hotel being a hive of activity the staff still understood the need for individualised service.
