Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

Great location but small rooms
Near market/food center, few bus stops away to Tiong Bahru Plaza, strategic locations (Orchards, Chinatown)
7.7
very good location, near market and food center, some restaurants nearby.
minus point is that the front desk person cannot clearly explain about 'security deposit' before we can check-in, so have some unpleasant arguments initially (e.g. must pay by credit cards). not all tourists bring credit cards, so they should able to give prompt advice and assistance.

Value for money boutique hotel with 5-star service
Clean, comfortable, modern, well-designed, friendly service. They thought of everything down to the smallest details!
9.7
You will be pleasantly surprised when you first step into this boutique hotel. Although it is small, it has everything you can expect from a 5-star hotel. Nice touches everywhere from the perfumed lifts/elevators to the bowl of green apples for guests in the corridors. Great deco art and very clean, well-designed rooms. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Definitely worth considering for a first visit because you will be returning to the hotel time and time again!

Friendly front desk, tiny twin rooms
4.7
We chose this hotel as it was the only one in the locality that was reasonably price. The room was booked for my mother who is in her 60s. She was placed in a twin room first as no doubles were available. This was tiny, the twin beds were only about 3 feet wide and the carpet was dirty. She was moved to a double the next day which was still small, but a much better size and cleaner. The mattresses are very soft and offer no back support at all and the bathrooms are small but useable. Front desk was friendly, but did not tell us that "deposit" would be taken from the credit card used to secure the room. This is unacceptable and I have never experienced this in a hotel that markets itself as 3 star, let alone 4. I subsequently received a letter from my bank informing me of this transaction. When I contacted the hotel, the person on the phone did not offer any apology or explanation and simply asked me to send the relevant letter to her and she would investigate. I will not return.

Small, quaint and well-furnished hotel
Decor is lively and reflects Singapore's history
6.7
The staff were friendly - we arrived late at night and left early in the morning, and the staff were always smiling and polite. The room was small with no windows - tiny cupboard and hardly any space to walk around the bed, but it was nicely furnished (nice decoration on the walls, LCD tv etc), so it didn't feel claustrophobic if you didn't think about it. Bed was comfortable, although I felt it was a bit short (I'm 1.65m).
We only stayed a brief night and didn't get to use the facilities or try the food
