Location - right on Clarke Quay and close to CBD
You have to pay for Internet access in your room.
I'd rather it just be include it in the room charge and be done with it.
Taxi drivers seem to know Liang Court better than Novotel as it was some other hotel before. Novotel is connected to Liang Court, which by the by, sports a fair number of reasonable Japanese restaurants and houses a largish Japanese supermarket. The whole area is great walking, down Clarke Quay to Boat Quay and all the way to the Esplanade Concert Hall (ECH). ECH is interesting architecture, bit like an echidna with origami spikes. The office tower canyons along the Singapore Riverside funnels just enough sea breeze to the bars that can take the edge of the heat and humidity from the day, while you sink that well deserved Tiger/Heinekan/Carlsberg beer.
Hotel Feature Tip : Get back early from work and walk along the riverside bank - port out starboard home. Enjoy

Well located and good facilities.
Food in the Restaurants were not good
We've have visited Singapore so many times and have stayed in Orchard Road. However, this last trip we decided to stay at Clark Quay. I think that was the best decision we ever made. Staying at Novotel Hotel was really good. It was a walking distance to China Town, Clark Quay, Indian Town, etc. Also, we were so pleased that they have given us an upgrade for our room. We had the best view on the 24th Floor. I will definitely recommend Novotel Hotel to anyone and will stay there again. It made our stay in Singapore a real holiday feeling.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Novotel Hotel is right in the centre of Clark Quay. China Town is just a walking distance. There are lots of restaurants to choose from. Clark Quay is very lively at night time. The boat ride on the river is highly recommended.

except for itsgreat location, there's nothing good about this hotel.
The room was unmake when we check in the room. The staff was very unhelpful and very unfriendly.
we requested non smoking room but when we arrive, the hotel gave us a room on the smoking floor. The hotel staff was very unhelpful. When we checked in the room, the room was still messy and unmake. We asked the hotel staff to change a room and hope the room would be ready when we came back from our meeting. they totally forgot about this issue after we came back from the meeting and made it sound like it was our fault that we didnt call the front desk. after a lot of complain, they reluctantly gave us a new room, once again on the smoking floor.
It was a very bad experience.
Travel tip : the hotel staff is very unfriendly and unhelpful.
