Hotel is clean but check-in is troublesome at 7th floor. I concerned about lost baggage. Location is good for lunch and dinner, but not good for sight-seeing and shopping where is far from orchard street. But I could use MRT train within 5 miniutes walk. I do not reccomend breakfast at the hotel, because it is not worth paying. Generally, I can recommend for short stay.

- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : MRT train is cheap and can be used by prepaid card. I recommend the hotel near the MRT station.

Warm friendly welcome only marred by long delays for lifts as various groups appeared to be arriving/departing at the same time. Particularly liked the drinks and ambience, not to mention prices, in the Red Bar. Room was well equipped and particularly like not having to ask for an iron and board. View from the room (16th floor) gave a real feel for Singapore.Excellent value for money.
Location close to Clarke Quay. Good views over city and water.Good accommodation with Iron and board in each room. Very good aircon.
Lift services could be improved particularly at busy times.Access to the swimming pool rather strange, long wlk on the 6th floor or through the restaurant!
- Travel tip : Very convenient to most Singapore transport and tourist options

The staff we met when checking out was uncaring and did not make any effort to help. We saw a hotel guest who did not speak English well enough tried to ask him something and he did not understand and did not even try. When the guest asked whether there was anyone who spoke Chinese, he said No. And most of the hotel staff we had seen were Chinese!
