Very average hotel, very expensive even for Singapore. When downstairs I ordered an ice-cream sundae and told it was $12. By time ice-cream was delivered to my room it was $29 USD, which is totally unacceptable. Wasn't anything special, so please take as a warning when ordering anything in hotel. Can go down road and have lovely lunch for $3SG. I would not stay here again.
Location to subway.
No explanantion of a cost factor for movies. Too expensive for anything purchased in hotel. Bed was terrible, bowed like a banana.
- Hotel Feature Tip : Subway Restaurant downstairs.

Excellent location, good value, good staff and nice and quiet (and dark) for sleeping.
Close to everything and good pub, club lounge on site with resident musical trio.
bathroom could be improved - bit more vanity bench space and glass on shower/bath is bit tricky to manoevre, care needs to be taken to avoid slipping.
- Hotel Feature Tip : Irish Pub on hotel site was good value and good spot to meet up with our fellow travellers over a Guinness. Short walk to some great inexpensive eating spots.

We think that the hotel was very nice! It has a modern but elegant design. The hotel is situated close to Singapore’s main road, Orchard Road. The service was also excellent. During our stay, one member of our group became ill. The hotel really did everything to help and this was greatly appreciated.
In the lobby of the hotel, both European and Asian food is served. We strongly recommend having a Singapore sling at the nice bar. The bar also has live shows with good local bands.

The hotel is located in a very good area in Orchard road. There are lots of good food outlets close by including several nice food courts. The MRT station at Orchard Road is very convenient to get around throughout the island. High end shopping is also close by, such as Ngee Aun and Takashimaya and Tangs. The best shopping is not on Orchard Road, for good shopping go to Tampines Mall and it can be reached easily by MRT for S$1.50 only. Strongly recommended for those who wish to part with some good money.

- Restaurant Tip : Eat in the food court close by

It was overall a 4 star hotel; the reception service needs to improve though. Would I stay there again? Probably not as it was a little off the main Orchard street and to the MRT. A little quiet too as it's to the end of Orchard Road. Enjoyed the Tony Roma's restaurant downstairs though.

The hotel could easily improve its standing: Some more professional staff at the reception and check out.
central location
hotel infrastructure is ok (but not five star)
discount price: ok
reception is not up to its job (too junior to do check ins)
breakfast buffet is also not up to 5 star (perhaps 3 star)`
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Orchard road is impressive!

Nice hotel, centrally located with lots of shopping and nightlife experience. Room sizes are okay and so is the interior. 5 stars again are a bit too high but its a good 4 star hotel.
Top location, nice and comfortable hotel; good value for the money, and breakfast buffet.
Reception staff need training: very, very slow check-in.
- Nightlife Tip : Orchard Tower.
Very nice place to stay near Orchard Road

The hotel is located just near the center of Orchard Road. So it is very nice place to enjoy shopping. You know Orchard Road is the place of shopping. But not good place for young travelers who are not interested in shopping. There are a few cafe, but I don't think it is a good place for nightlife. I am not sure, but I heard Clarke Quay is better for that. Anyway, if you are traveling with older children who are interested in shopping, it would be a good choice.
- Right near by Orchard road. Best place for shopping and enjoying downtown.
- Nice employees' service.
- Not THAT good for its price
- Hotel Feature Tip : Service charge is included to fare.

I am not normally a fan of the 'big' hotel. What I did like about the Orchard was the range of accommodations available and the range of facilities for dining. Don't expect a lush outlook (I looked onto the back of an ugly building), but it is an oasis inside. It is at the top end of Orchard Room which is quieter, but also a little removed - depends on what you prefer.
Good-sized rooms. The bath/bedroom window - watching television in the bath was a nice touch. An attempt made to add an Asian touch to the furnishings. Ample storage and hanging space for clothes/bags. Adaptors installed at the desk. Gym facilities excellent.
Shelf space in bathroom limited. Hairdryer very average. Natural light limited. Outlook from room very unattractive.
- Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : Near the Botanical Gardens - with the outstanding Orchard Garden. A nice escape from the shops!
Indifferent service

Arrived at 20:00 and was told room was not ready and to go and sit in the bar. Room was finally ready at 21:00. No apology, no offer of a complimentary drink. Cafe next to reception - terrible service. 30 minutes to get a cup of tea. One hour to be served a pizza. Waitress apologised and offered a complimentary soup. Pizzas that were served up were absolutely tasteless.
Location is good at the top end of Orchard road and a hotel we have stayed in before.
Indifferent service at desk and breakfast cafe.
