Orchard Hotel, Singapore

Staying at Orchard Hotel is a memorable one. I will again stay at the same hotel if given the chance that i will be back at Singapore. You can do your last minute shopping since it is near shopping centers. The employees and staff are very courteous and accomodating. We even leave our bags when we went to Malaysia.

Room a bit small. Also the bathroom. Maybe because I took the superior room (the lowest) Plasma TV is very nice. Quite big. Location near to night life entertainment such as KTV, Pub, bar and night clubs. If night quite hard to find food near hotel. And you will see many people get drunk there. A bit far from central Orchard.

since we were there for the 3rd we requested in advance the same room, or a similar one. It was not available upon arrival, we were offer other rooms, apparently nothing was available but after really insisting we finally got the one, one day later. Otherwise, the hotel is really good especially for the price.

Orchard Hotel Singapore is a nice hotel located near the shopping area and easy to get into the office area. It offers a comfortable and relaxing atmosphere. The hotel staff is very nice and helpful.

This hotel is very convenient for shoppers due to the fact that it is located right at Orchard Road. Compared to other hotels it gives excellent value for your money. The rooms are clean and the service o.k. Staff could be a bit more friendly but overall nothing to complain about. This is truly a good place to stay right in the heart of Singapore.

my girlfriend and I are staying there for the 3rd time, we really love the place, the value for money is excellent. Some of the staff are very helpful, some a bit less. The hotel is very big, you could walk around in a rainy day and have enough to keep you busy for a couple of hours.

The location for shopping and the MTR is very good, The hotel is very clean with neat rooms and convient restraunts and shops with in the building. The corner location is very handy for cab services and the taxi's and MRT acess is very good. The staff of the hotel are very professional and polite. They Bars and beverages are quit expensive but the local is close enough to walk to other venues if you desire. The over all impression of the hotel is very good the room rates are reasonable as well as the food.I would recommend stay at this hotel to my friends and family..

Overall this was a good hotel. However the thing i like most about this hotel is that the building materials in the room was not a cheap-kind of materials. Large twin bed good enough for small size adults.

i was there only for 1 day with hectic business schedule, but the hotel was very comfortable which made my stay very relaxing. the location of the hotel is so good that it is accesible to any place very smoothly & also very lively during the night.

Our 4 nights stay with Orchard Hotel was great. We stayed at 2x Superior rooms as our boys stayed on the other room. The rooms were very clean and the beds were really cozy and comfortable to sleep in. The cleaner as we requested cleaned our rooms almost everyday. When we arrived the friendly Filipina staff, Mel checked us in and we requested that our 2 rooms be right next to each other. We got the requested rooms thanks to Mel. The following day I inquired with the Hotel's tour desk and we booked for our Sentosa, Night Safari and the Cheng Ho Dinner Cruise. On the times that we were not joining the local tours, we've been walking from our hotel down to Orchard Road. We basically entered most of the buildings and had been in and out of all the boutiques and high end shops. Gosh!!!! My leg hurts but it was a good excercise. During weekends we could see lot of Filipinos around Orchard Road. We tried taking the MRT experience going to Clark Quay to eat a crabby lunch at Jumbo Restaurant and then after a big meal we walked to Chinatown. The hotel's location was great. We just have to walk towards the road to start our trail going down to Orchard Road. On our last day we tried having lunch at the 2nd level Chinese Rest. They have a good selection of food there. Yum-cha's good too. Downstairs at the Cafe they have a very nice buffet lunch and dinner. I just looked on the food selections and they were nice too. We didn't try it, next time we will. Our overall experience with Orchard Hotel was an A plus. We will recommend to our family and friends to stay there when they visit Singapore. We like Singapore. It is so clean and quiet and feels so safe to travel around and very similar to our experience at Orchard Hotel. SEE YOU NEXT TIME IN ORCHARD HOTEL. All the best to all of you guys. Those days I feel almost perfect,but still have some things not very good,can make it more better. ex: The room is not very good,tea kettle can not use...etc. If the hotel don't repair the toothbrush for customer,it must tell us before we order the hotel on internet.

Not much to complain about this hotel except for the cost of internet per day (which is quite average in cost I assume in Singapore). The location was good as it was close to all of the Orchard Road shops and the MRT was 2 blocks away, but it was somewhat away from the main part of the city (chinatown, clarke quay, city hall).

This is one of the most pleasant hotels we stay in. The rooms are adequate - the shower and the air-con are efficient. It's clean and the staff are always courteous and helpful. The breakfast is one of the most diverse I have had and it's all excellent. Tough to find any sensible negative comments about the hotel really. We will stay there next time.

the service are quite slow. i've booked through agoda on the day of departure. they didn't received any confirmation mail from agoda. so i did emailed them the coupon. they were quite slow on getting it done so my parents had been stranded in d lobby room for quite a long time.
