great location and price. beds needs some improvement though. they were too small for 2 people and too hard. other than that, the hotel is located in the quieter part of orchard road, which serve our purpose. definitely value for money.

Nice hotel on Orchard, 10 minute walk from MRT

Nice hotel, good rooms and good wifi. One can walk to Orchard and Scott in 5 minutes, and to Takashimaya in 10.the breakfast satisfies both Western and Eastern palates. Relative to other hotels in the area, the value is good, especially if a 10 minute walk is not a problem for you.
Shopping Tip:
One can get their laundry done quickly at the laundry in he basement of Orchard Towers.
Good Thai restaurant on 3rd floor (if my memory serves me correctly).

The concierge and reception staff were friendly and helpful. The flowers in the hotel are lovely and add a nice ambience.
The room and air condition are very good, the athmosher surrounding is very good the mrt is good.
Staff very friendly and accommodating. Great location, great buffet breakfast, and comfortable room.

Great Location Poor Condition of rooms

Considering the rate paid the rooms were very old and somewaht dishevelled, everything was very worn and old, and the room had that old musty smell. the TV was out of focus all the time and maintenance could not fix it. The telephones were often not working and i had to go down to the lobby with any queries, they never did fix the phone issue and it remained intermittent throughout the stay.
generally the service was ok with very polite staff, but often service was slow, especially check in!! and room service orders were all incorrect when delivered and had to be corrected with frustrating delays and cold food.
My pressing sent in on the first day at 13:00 didnt come back at all untill i called at 22:30 the following night to ask where it was and even then took an hour and a half to show up when i had just gone off to sleep.
I have stayed here before and had a tremendous stay, but things have certainly degraded in the last 5 months.

Fantastic stay with great smile, great bed linen. Good location, Good facilities. Singapore is great. Would stay again. It is a comfortable and well located hotel. The room was good and the breakfast was acceptable, if a little frantic. The staff are very approachable. Very clean. Smells clean. Although the facade outside coming from Orchard Road is not very impressive I was really surprised at the inside. The location is excellent!!! Would definitely come back to this hotel.

At the quieter end of Orchard Road
Rooms on back are very quiet

rooms are being upgraded. our room was quite nicely decorated in a more modern design. comfortable easy chair. we left before dawn but everyone was so nice.
Restaurant Tip:
take a cab to newton circus hawker market to eat and then walk back. the chili crab are expensive but wonderful. wear old clothes so you don't worry about the sauce getting on your clothes.

this was a last minute booking. we were having a function nearby and the nearest hotel to it having promotion is orchard hotel. so we decided to go for it as we were very tired. as it was a last minute booking, the hotel did not have records of us. but the staff was still very efficient and served us with fantastic smile and great conversation. he really made us feel less tiring. the room is comfortable though the room furniture is abit old.
