it was not a pleasant check in. check in time was stated at 2 pm but the room wasn't ready until 4:45. complimentary drinks were given but it was still crucial that the room got erady at the time stated instead of saying time and again that it wasnt when you go to the counter to check.

lovely hotel, rooms just great,location good with only 10 mins walk to the heart of orchard/ scotts rd. 10-15 mins in taxi to mustafa,china town, marina bay.
friendly & helpful staff.

the bathroom light is too bright, when you are lying and having your bath, the light goes to your eyes directly.
the air-con is too cold although i set the temp to 28.
the bed is good. sofa is good. service is very good.

overall a short and nice stay - quick check in and check out. rooms were clean and renovated but the house keeping service was a bit slow though.
Restaurant Tip:
There is a mini food court in the basement of the orchard shopping mall, in annex to the hotel

we arrived he hotel around 2:30pm on sunday but the room was not ready, waited about an hour before we can get a room. once checked into the room we found broken phone and unclean bedding sheet. we then lodged a complaint to the hotel management and they quickly address the issue by upgrading our stay. although i am not pleased with the initial experience but aplause their corrective service. i will still stay there next time.

Everything was fine except for 3 things.
Reception was very slow with checking people in.
Asked for a double bed, ended up with only 2 single beds.
Asked for smoking room, didn't get one.

Excellent room service, great location for shopping, everything in walking distance, vibrant night life. Room was clean and tidy and hotel staff were helpful to provide information and service. Hotel is located along Orchard road, which is walking distance to all the shopping centres in singapore, access to all location are very convenient.
