Excellent stay, hotel is a little aged but well maintained and cosy. Walking distance to the shopping strip downtown Orchard Road. Excellent chinese restaurant.

Shopping Tip:
shopping on orchard road. a long strip of malls and shops! ION is the newest mall in sg, worth a go! u find all u need there

we read about orchard hotel from the internet and decided to give it a try. the location was fantastic! the 24-hr market place that opened throughout chinese new year holidays was the best and it is just 5 mins walk from the hotel. we love the location - near major shopping malls, great eating places, children's shops, night spots... all just minutes from the hotel! we recommend this hotel to anyone especially family with children.

Lovely hotel, great location and nice breakfast.
Nice and spacious room. Walking distant to most shopping places.

We have a great time staying in the hotel. I've booked 2 rooms for the whole family, 3 daughters and my wife. Breakfast were great. Shopping center were just round the corner and drinking joints were just outside the hotel. We do not need to take a teksi to all the tourist places as the underground train were walking distant away. The trains led us to wherever we wanted to go. Great location and we are sure to come back again.

Hi I went to Singapore with my wife and we book the hotel from internet the hotel is quite good convenient to shopping that is what my wife love. very satisfied with the stay. the location on orchard road is just perfect, dining and entertainment opportunities are just on your doorstep and the facilities of the hotel are stunning. i will definitely stay at orchard hotel again.

I enjoyed my stay at this particular hotel. The room was a little out of date but still very clean, neat and comfortable. The location was brilliant if you intend to hang around the Orchard area. Checked out the gym and I must say although it was small in size, it was more than enough to provide a very decent workout. Service was great however the queues to check in and out were long (but it was no fault of the concierge, just a sudden influx of customers). WIFI was too expensive! $1 per minute or $28 a day? Unbelievable. Overall, I had an enjoyable stay!
Restaurant Tip:
Come out of the hotel, and head left on Scotts Rd. Go straight all the way til you hit Lucky Plaza. There's a Chicken Rice shop on the top floor! Brilliant food!

very good location right off of orchard road with a bunch of malls and places to eat and nightlife nearby. nice room, solid internet, friendly staff. decent bar on the groundfloor and the room service is tasty.
