great value 5star hotel. perfect shopping location
free internet and gave me free upgrade without asking for one! the staff extremely helpful during my time there.

the had been refurbished which was nice and clean. a good size. i had a couple of meetings in the lobby area and used the sports bar located in the ground floor lobby area. i used the hotel as a base and was picked by clients and taken out for dinner and drinks so cannot comment on the hotel in this aspect. singapore is small but the location on orchard road is good. there are plenty of shops, restaurants and pubs. there are plenty of bars on orchard road but be careful as they are mosly full of working girls ( the orchard towers is one such place). they have a huge shopping mall a short distance away and we found a very nice bar on the 55th floor with superb 360 degree views of the country. i think it was called the sky bar and grill. it is exclusive so make a booking in advance. the views were awesome. overall was happy with this hotel as it close to 50% cheaper than other hotels at this time. great value for money.

Great location & excellent service
very convenient location - for food, shopping & transportation

we reached the hotel to check in at 1pm but only got our room around 3.30pm (maybe because of the peak season), the hotel's staff did however give us free drinks while waiting. room was ok, could improve a bit on the bathroom's air ventilation. Location is the biggest pro for this hotel, or even across the road for many other restaurants. will definitely stay here again for future trips.
Restaurant Tip:
if you want a snack, go to their shopping arcade & get a subway sandwich. convenient and fast.

Nice hotel with fab room
Quiet location within 8 minutes walk to orchard shopping belt

The room is spacious and clean, nice bathroom with both shower cubic and bath tub. Facing the siwmmimg pool veiw, the bed is big enough for three of us. Good room service and friendly staff.
If you are looking for a quiet location yet with easy access to orchard shopping belt, this is the place.

The Orchard Hotel has a good location, directly at the Orchard
Road, and from there you can walk down the street and pass
by several good restaurants, and also shopping malls are
quite near. The hotel we have used on several occations, and
it is still very good. The check in and check out takes a
bit of time, but the rooms are very clean, and lobby and
swimming pool are always clean. The staff is nice, friendly.
Unfortunately the rate of the hotel is changing quite often,
so we had luck sometimes, but other times, we had to pay a bit
more.

Hotel is well appointed and quite convenient. Can easily use it for both business travelers or a holiday maker.
Location is not far from the main shopping street, an easy walk to Orchard Rd and all the hustle bustle of it. Taxis are plenty out of peak hours but not that close to the subway. Of course, it's very close to the Orchard Tower if you're the male night type.

I'm happy with this hotel. very recommended! the room is very clean, and the price is cheaper than other hotel with the same class. Orchard hotel located is in the middle of orchard road, means in the middle of shopping centre. Good for shooping and good for eat!

Unbelievable service
at the end of orchard road

we took a long drive from kl to singapore and hope to check in to a nice hotel with a nice room. upon fast checking in, we went into the room and only to find out that the room was still in a mess and it looked like someone was still residing in that room. we were speechless! how can the front office give us room keys to a room which was not ready.
we called twice to the front office demanding to speak to the front office manager but was told he/she was occupied. in return the duty manager attended to us. the 1st room which we got was bigger but since it was not ready and it stinked with smell, the duty manager changed us to the 2nd room which was smaller. since it was only a night, we let it off. even though the duty manager compensated us with free breakfast the next day but it still doesn't change our bad impression on the hotel. both my parents were veterans in the hotel industry and i have stayed in many hotels and yet still can't believe this kind of service being rendered upon checking into a 4/5 star hotel.
