Excellent Location, Comfortable Rooms, Reasonable Price Staff sometimes not so trained. This is a great hotel for tourists who want to be near Orchard Road. You can also drive in without having to pass an ERP Gantry (bane of non-Singaporean motorists). Parking is easy and traffic is good for a location so near to Orchard Road.
You are literally 1 minute away from Orchard Road with great shoping and the sort of eateries tourists look for. There's Angus Steak House, Hard Rock Cafe, the usual western style fast food joints, fine chinese dining and for the budget conscious, food courts. The MRT is 5 mins away so you can easily get to any corner of Singapore.
The hotel itself is a bit old but well maintained. Rooms are reasonably large and comfortable for the rates.

Loactions, efficiency , room decor For a quick business trip the Orchard Parade hotel is perfectly acceptable. Close to transport, restaurants and nightlife its moderately priced and operates efficiently.
Rooms are fine with good quality modern furnishings... bath/ shower is a bit of a squeeze but you get to expect that in allot of hotels these days.
One beef I have is they do not provide any free water.. just one or two 500ml complimentary bottles would be nice.. same as most other hotels do. It sort of irks me to have to go to the fridge and pay for one of lifes neccesities.
Otherwise no issue with this hotel

great location, beautiful views rooms tend to differ from each other in sizes for the same price A great hotel to lay your head for a few nights. Located in a excellent area for shopping and nightlife.Wish the supreme rooms offered a little more than expected, but good overall.

Early check-in, location, helpful staff, cleanliness of room, on airport shuttle route no convenient, quick food or beverage facility in hotel Since Singapore was our first stop on our trip, we found our stay at the Orchard Parade Hotel a great beginning. Its location on Orchard, but away from the "hustle & bustle" was a plus for us. It was also convenient to a metro station
Travel tip : Great location on quieter end of Orchard & close to a metro stop.

Clean and Comfortable.The Location is near the shopping centre. The Hotel room is clean but it is small as expected compared to the price.The location is not too closed to MRT, need walk around 10 minutes. The hotel atmosphere is quiet so it is good to relax.The staff is helpful as need help , they can help to get information. There is no internet connection free and there is no bell boy.Overall, this hotel is good to stay for the vocation.

The location is good
The lobby area is beautiful The rooms are not up to the mark because maintenance have not been done. Though the amount charged is high you can see its not the same hotel which was there 5 or 6 years ago. I was happy to reserve my room at Orchard Parade because I have personally stayed at this hotel 5 years ago. Unfortunately the standards have come down regarding maintenance quite a lot. It is visible even in the lifts & corners of the corridors. I was given a room far away Room 841 which had a wall as the view out side. There were boxes & paper piled up near another lift where I had to cross before reaching my room. This is a good property only if they can maintain it properly.
Hotel Feature Tip : The hotel is in a good location in Orchard Road area. For the Metro Walk straight about 7 minutes
then you can find the escalator before the traffic lights of the main roads.

bathroom small, shower did not work correctly, very loud, did not get room type i wanted, old TV that can not be fully turned off or on with rempte This hotel has a five star rating. i do not think it deserves that rating...maybe 10 years ago. there was loud thumping music until about 3-4 in the morning, maybe from across the street. TV was old and can not be turned on or off with out pressing a button on the TV itself. the bathroom was small...hard to close the door with out standing in the bathtub. shower did not turn fully on. computer/ internet access in hotel lobby should be free (esp for a 5 star hotel) since it is free in many hotels with lesser star ratings. No bathrobe (i would expect from a 5 star).
this hotel would be good for 20% less money...it is a 3-4 star hotel...not 5.

Building old but still in good condition Arrived on MRT and a short ten minute walk and we were checking in ........ check in was fast and uncomplicated ............ for an old building rooms are still in good condition ......... pool resturants and shops are all within the same building complex ......... will stay again

It very near to all the shopping malls Room was very average. No free internet. Bit noise from outside aricondition units Hotels is located in very good location. Staff was very helpfull and there are always taxis prepared. But the room wasnt exactly what i expected. Noise from outside aircondition units. Internet chaarges are pretty expensive. Internet should come free those days but this hotel considers it still as some kind of a luxury to have internet access. Bathroom was preety bad. Old tiles. But still it was OK when u just want to sleep somewhere close to shopping malls.

Good location, staff as friendly as ever, close to good restaurants and shopping and a short walk to the MRT Rooms haven't changed much in years, superior rooms have unsightly, uncomfortable bench and badly need an armchair. TV at times erratic in operation. We have stayed at the Orchard Parade Hotel numerous times over the past six or seven years and it is consistently a pleasant stay. The hotel staff remember you from previous stays which is good. They are always friendly and helpful. The hotel is dated and needs a good overhaul. The breakfast room is very ordinary. The pool is usually freezing and this could be changed with solar heating.
Restaurant Tip : The steaks at Black Angus are always excellent. Try the "Shrimp by the Dozen" as an entree - great value.

Room location is a bit odd, and so far away from the elevator; service is so slow when you ask for fixing airconditioner in the room, housekeeping service is also very poor.

clean tidy rooms We found the front desk staff to be very helpful, particularly a young lady named Fay.
Clean tidy rooms and hotel has a good location for Orchard Road shopping and dining access as well as other Singapore sites.
The room price for a deluxe room was very good when considering the prime location in the Orchard Road area.

Nice Pool, close to the mall and beaches air conditioner very weak Very nice hotel located in the main hub of Pattaya. The new City Center Mall is 5 min from the hotel, the beach is a 2 min walk, all the bars and shopping are all within walking distance from the hotel. The pool is big enough to enjoy and if not, you can go to the beach.
Nightlife Tip : Soi 8 is all you need for the night life.
