good location
good restaurants around
very friendly and helpful reception
staff generally helpful
reception area nice
room interior is a bit boring, sterile
toiletery articles in room too basic the tooth brush set doesn't contain a tooth paste, no comb
I was impressed with the very firendly reception at the hotel. Although I made a last minute reserv ation all information was there and the room was ready, got a complimentary upgrade.
The room equipment is although very basic and the big room is empty which leaves a strange impression (a bigger working area wuld be a good addition in this room).
The room was with wireless internet access and convenient. The bathroom should have some renovation as the taps, and tube look old although the hotel cleanliness was excellent it could not cover the old equipment.
There are not enough toiletery articles in the batch room and comb, tooth paste missing in tooth brush set. considering the relative high room rates (ithout breakfast) I expected newer room interior.
However over all the hotel is a good hotel for leisure and business and its terrific location for shopping, leisure etc is great.
definitely worth to come back and recommendable

Good location. Close to restaurants and nightlife.
Staff were quite helpful and fast when checking in which was a real help.
Major attraction here is close proximity to Orchard Road and shopping area, though it is a 5-6 min walk to Orchard MRT station. Unfortunately, not a lot of cheap 'market/street' style eateries at this end of Orchard road.
Restaurant Tip : Check out Modesto's wood-fired pizza's below. Not bad at all!!

- Very convenient. Just minutes away from Orchard Road, the shopping haven.
- Nice room interior. Modern and clean.
- Friendly hotel staffs. Was greeted a couple of times when they walk pass me.
- 3 meter swimming pool. Finally a swimming pool you can't just walk around in it.
- Has a good restaurant: Grandma's that serve Malaysian cuisine, typically hotel food is pricey but Grandma is very reasonable.
- Good price as well. For a place that is located right next to Orchard, definitely a good price.
- Old toilet. While the room itself has good interior the toilet looks old to me.
- TV volume. They limit the volume, perhaps they don't want some dudes blasting at full disturbing other guests, nonetheless, even at full volume, i can't hardly hear some channels.
If you want to shop til you drop at a convenient location, then Orchard Parade would be a good choice. Strategically located just next to Orchard Road, plenty of world class brands around. In fact, you can get Emporio Armani, D&G, Calvin Klein just next to the hotel at the Forum. Plenty of food places around, lots of independent restaurants from local cuisines to flavors of the world. Good price. Try Orchard Parade!

We booked deluxe room and was upgraded to Executive room because deluxe room was no longer available when we checked in. Furniture in executive room is okey
The hotel lobby has a strange smell whenever you entered. The shower was too old that it took long time for the water to leave the bath tub after shower.
Overall, it's a convinient hotel for a 2 night shopping in Orchard road. Comparing with other hotels in Orchard road, this hotel has a good price.
Shopping Tip : It's very close to shopping stores.

very friendly and nothing is ever a problem for staff
showers maybe a little old, but water was hot and pressure was ok
very friendly customer service at reception, as soon as I needed something it was done straight away, rooms are very comfortable, Cable has excellent choices for adults and kids channels were aplenty, swimming pool is fantastic, very large and not so busy which I enjoyed. Checkin in was very quick, location is excellent and getting in and out was never a problem if you have a car or as in my case my friends visiting

not many choice of the breakfast
Nice Hotel and Close to Shopping Centre but a bits far to go MRT Station, need to take around 10-15 mins by walk. About the breakfast, not many option to choose for but still fine and clean. I wish they have more option to choose for which is next time i back.
Restaurant Tip : If you feel hungry at midnight, there hv 24hrs Macdonald in forum shopping centre. Not far away, just take 3 mins walk from Hotel.

A fine old hotel, 60s style, in an excellent location at the top of Orchard Rd near the Botanical Gradens. Spanish style outdoor pool area; very spacious rooms (or ours was); good service.
getting a bit run down. Not glitzy new.
If you like character, space, and central location for both shopping and botanical gardens, plus proximity to embassies, this is a very pleasant place to stay...a little cheaper than the newer hotels but less boxy. It has a pretty, spacious pool area and pleasant lobby, internet service and attentive staff. The furnishings are getting shabby but fixtures have an art nouveau feel. We found it goodvalue for money and a pleasant hotel for relaxation.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : If you like walking, especially outside the heat of the day, walk up Orchard and Napier rd to the botanical gardens and orchid gardens. For an excellent range of food try the GFood Republic food court at Isetan/Ngee Ann City, nearby.

1. The hotel is very clean.
2. Breakfast is not good.
The hotel is located in the nice location. It is convenience to commute from and to Airport, especially when coming by MRT. the hotel is clean, but there should be more variety of food for buffet breakfast.
Shopping Tip : Close to shopping area, Orchard road.

Close to Orchard Road shopping precinct and the Singapore Botanic Gardens.
We arrived off an early morning flight from Athens and paid an early check-in supplement to have immediate use of a room. This was well worth it to be able to catch up on some much needed sleep before heading out on the town. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The staff were always polite and helpful.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip : We walked from the hotel to the Botanic Gardens. There was so much to see there that we ran out of time. They are well worth a visit.

Located along Orchard road; good service; acceptable amenities given the price it offers; clean and tidy facilities
Located in the far end of Orchard Road; quite a walk from the nearest MRT station and to the more popular shopping malls
I was with a group of friends and we stayed at Orchard Parade Hotel for 3 days to experience the Great Singapore Sale. I can say that our experience was satisfactory given the good service, acceptable amenities, the affordable price and the clean and tidy hotel facilities.
The only problem I had with the hotel is its location. The nearest MRT station takes a few minutes of walk so that when you ride the MRT from the airport, it was a hassle dragging your luggage to the streets just to reach the hotel. The more popular malls like the Takashimaya, Paragon and Ngee Ann City takes also quite a walk. No problem if you love walking but if it's a summer season and a weekend, be ready with the heat and crowded people.
But considering the clean facilities, good service and affordbale price, I still think that this is one of the hotels within the location that offers the best value for money.

Location at top of Orchard Rd - easy walking distance to many shops, restaurants, cinema etc
Size of hotel - means easy to get rooms
Pricing is very competitive for its class
Upgraded me on check in - nice touch
The Orchard Parade Hotel, Singapore is a sprawling pink hotel at the top of Orchard Road. Often confused with the Orchard Hotel – right opposite, and one star grade above it – the Orchard Parade is used by airlines for its crews as well as its passengers in transit to connecting flights the next day. It is a reasonable ‘value for money’ hotel, not particularly memorable but perfectly adequate in terms of room size, facilities etc whose location is its strongest feature.

I was there for 2 nights, the room was pretty good, nice size room - with a huge bed. Good location - hotel was on orchard road, close to all different kind of eating joints and shopping malls.
The floor was dirty all through, on the first there were all kind eatables lying on the carpet -which were not looked at even on the second day after the room cleaning. Non-smonking room had constant smoking smell. Staff could have been much nicer, did not see any of them smile.
Good hotel if you are with a family or short business trip - would not rate it highly if you going for relaxed holiday.

Good location near the heart of the city. Easy access to taxis. Rooms were clean and serice is good. We were upgraded to an Executive room when we checked in.
Small rooms, internet access is additional and rather expensive compared to most hotels that have free internet access.
We stayed at Orcharde Parade hotel for two weeks. Upon arrival they upgraded us to an executive room without our asking (good). The rooms are small. They have internet access but you must pay extra for this. Internest access for a week is $140 - $210 depending if you pay daily or weekly. The Service was fair, we had to call them a couple of times to come clean our room, they did not make up the room for some reason. People working there are very friendly. The location is good for being in the downtown area with quick assess to most areas. Most shopping areas or restaurants are withing walking distance from the hotel. Easy access to a taxi from the hotel. The room rates are much better through Agoda than checking in straight through the hotel. Several restaurants located at the hotel. The Black Angus has very good food, I would not recommend the Italian restaurant. The hotel does not have a business centre, but the will assist you with copies, scanning, etc at the front desk. The overall experience was good.
Nightlife Tip : For those intersted in nite life entertainment, it is across the street from Orchard Towers, but I would not recommend this place, too many other places to see that are better.

Location was very central, staff were very helpful
Our room did not have a view of anything, looked onto more rooms. Some of the mosaic from the pool was missing and made it look a little tired and in need of some work.
We had a lovely stay at this four star hotel, our room was on the 6th floor and although it didn't have a view we were on the same floor as the swimming pool and the gym which we enjoyed. The location was close to a number of restaurants and bars giving us a lot of choice for eating out and entertainment. The staff were friendly and helpful, we would stay here again.
Nightlife Tip : Hard Rock Cafe around the corner.
