2 minutes walk to tanjong pagar mrt station which is right in the middle of the mrt network throughout the island, so it's really convenient to visit various places via mrt. hotel is simple, small lobby area. staff are friendly. check in and check out are a breeze. 4 lifts so need a bit of waiting time.

Quite luxurious, friendly, & very close to MRT

At first, the hotel responded well to my email, thanks to Ms. Norasikin, it's a relief - though it would be better if the reply could be faster :)
The front desk was handy enough taking care of your reservation, what was best I was allowed to check in far earlier (actually I was allowed to leave my bag if the check-in time hasn't come yet), they are friendly enough but the staffs we met in the hallway & elevator is more welcoming & helpful, i.e. patiently helping me overcoming the key card, which was a little trouble at the elevator.
The room was spacious, luxurious enough, clean, & have fresh air, hope these would be maintained well. All rooms are 1 queen & 1 single, it would be best for family with children or for group of 3. Also, the environment was noise-free, we had good sleep.
Our little complaint about the mineral water compliment which should had been provided was handled well.
The location is few meters away from MRT Station, Tanjong Pagar, made our route plan easier.
Last but not least, there's a ramen restaurant, Tonkotsu King, beside the hotel, tasteful enough & worth to try.
With the non-breakfast package, this hotel would be very competitive compared to the others offering the same facilities or environment - then, with no more consideration, it would be our first choice to stay again.

Clean and pleasant hotel

We were upgraded to a suite due to over-booking, which was very nice and spacious. Unfortunately it was right next to the elevators so it was a bit noisy until around midnight. We managed to sleep through it though. I also found the mattress very hard, and the hotel does not have pillow tops to soften them. The toiletries weren't that nice either.
The staff were very friendly and the room was cleaned and linens replaced daily.
There was no shade over the pool, so we didn't go for a swim, and the Orchid Cafe looks directly onto the pool area so there is no privacy/you may feel a little exposed.
Hotel Feature Tip:
Do not eat breakfast at the Orchid Cafe if you are looking for a western style breakfast. Food is cold and under or over cooked.
