Convenient for Business Traveller

Like the hotel room with nice bathrooms. The room is big with fast internet access. TV programme nothing to shout about as i have no time to go through it. Room comes with iron and iron board which is very convenient for business travellers like me. Staff is friendly and the breakfast is good but limited choices.

spacious bedroom, good location near mrt tanjong pagar. many places to eat near by. the bedroom comes with 1 normal king/queen bed and also 1 free twin bed. very suitable for families as well. bell caption staff good service. rooms are new and clean.
the negative: the design inside the room is not stylish or modern. it is very classic hotel room decor from the 90's, but everthing was new and very functional.
i would stay again.

This hotel is value for money given the large size of the room. Furnishing was great and amenities adequate. There's even a supermarket and food centers located nearby for your meals and snack. The lap pool was long enough for a good swim followed by a relaxing session at the sauna.

Nice hotel with MRT just across the street
Big big big room space, you know how normally tiny hotel room in Singapore are.

If you have got some spare time, swimming pool look great to dip in.

it is the second time that we stayed at the orchid and we enjoyed it again. the breakfast is not the reason to stay as the restaurant is full of airconditioning. but all the rest is great !

A very good hotel and good location

clean, spacious rooms, quite good breakfast, good location beside underground station (50 meters) and chinatown (500 meters).
we spend 11 nights at the hotel. the staff was friendly and politely. all the things were fine during the visit.
tanjung pagar underground station is some 50 meters, chinatown is some 500 meters and singapore river is some 1,5 kms from the hotel.

Great Service with MRT station nearby

Wonderful stay for me and family. Was allowed early check-in, staff was courteous and helpful. Halal food was nearby, just 10 minutes walk away. Deluxe room was decent size for party of five, clean bathroom and bed. Although there were no shopping mall nearby, MRT station is very near and Sentosa is just two station away. Will come to this hotel again in future as it is really value for money, not just the hotel rate, but also the Halal food available nearby.
Restaurant Tip:
Tanjung Pagar Plaza, there's a halal stall at 2nd storey. Alternatively, there's a 24-hr mamak restaurant at Lim Teck Kim.
