The House of Peranakan Cuisine is a traditional Straits-Chinese restaurant specialising in authentic Peranakan food. The hotel changed it's name recently. Taxi drivers were confused. Be sure you have the hotel address before jumping into a taxi.
- Shopping Tip : Be careful when shopping for electrical goods. Do your research thoroughly and know the price you should pay. In Singapore they have a habit of dicounting the price of goods and then selling back the items to you that should already have been in the box. Be especially careful at LUCKY PLAZA on Orchard Road, all electrical shops there have a very bad reputation for cheating tourists -Good Luck, but be careful.
