Close to the Airport and easy access to other areas of Singapore General appeal when entering the hotel is bland, almost lifeless My last stay at the Paramount Hotel in Singapore was a great disappointment. I checked in approximately 1800 hrs and the room I was given initially was very dirty and hand not been cleaned after the prior occupants had checked out.
The bed was unmade and dirty linen, the garbage was full and overflowing, the bathroom was dirty. All in all the room was a disaster.
Redeeming factor was they transferred us to another room immediately.
I have stayed at the Paramount hotel numerous times during our travels to and from the Philippines and this time, by and far was the worst experience I have had with this hotel. I would honestly have to consider starting to use another hotel in place of this one if the service quality remains as it was this trip.

near from huge shopping mall, airport old, far from city (by taxi, approx.S$10) It takes only 10 min from airport. If your freight schedule is quite early, the location of this hotel is very helpful. However, all equipmet is old, just looks like 80's.

Spacious room, convenient. Too many sleazy pubs and females. Not convenient for single female occupants to wonder out in the night. The room is spacious. Facilities are exceptable. The only disadvantage is the pubs surrounding the hotel which may not be family friendly or female friendly.

Service level of the support staff (laundry and cleaners) has seemed to have dropped Normally a good hotel to stay in, but this time the room was not cleaned one day despite the "Make up Room" sign on the door and it was a fight to get laundry put in. They accept laundry until llam but at 10am when called they said they would not take it. Strange because the last time I stayed in this hotel the staff were great...this time around, it was very different.

Big rooms and beds. Quiet air-con. Tea/coffee facilities good. Use of swimming pool.Very good restaurant. Bathroom could be refurbished, but it is acceptable and very clean. Could do with cushions on the poolside loungers. We were very pleased to stay here for 1 night, but would have happily stayed much longer. The staff are very friendly and helpful and couldn't do enough for us. The buffet in the restaurant in the evening was excellent. We'd certainly recommend this hotel to anyone, as long as they don't mind being at a distance from Orchard Road. We had visited Orchard Road several times in the past so it was good to stay nearer the water.

Our room was spacious, clean and well appointed. It had a safe in the room which was very handy. The bathroom was large and offered toothbrushes & toothpaste as well as usual soaps, shampoos etc. A paper was delivered in the morning which was a very nice touch. The view was excellent . The Hotel is close to a very large shopping mall across the road. We only stayed a day but found the hotel facilities very good and staff courteous & friendly. An easy run to and from the airport. The television selection was poor and you would have to pay to get an upgrade. This could be annoying if staying longer at the hotel . We liked the hotel and although we were there for only a day, found the room very comfortable, clean and well appointed. The need for a safe in the room saves on having to keep going to reception to get your belongings, so it was handy this hotel had one in the room. The Hotel view was excellent. It is close to a very large shopping mall across the road. We found staff were courteous & friendly. The Hotel is conveniently located for an easy run to and from the airport. I always aim to get breakfast included with the room price as this saves on the travel budget. Starbuck's restaurant isn't far and cheap by taxi.
Shopping Tip : The hotel is across from a very large shopping mall. So there is affordable eating and good shopping close by. Starbucks isn’t far to go to eat and cheap by taxi. I would recommend the airport shuttle to for transferring to & from hotel to airport as it’s much cheaper than taxi as there is a 30% surcharge after 11pm. The traveller can access the shuttle before they leave airport. The shuttle leaves approx every 15-20mins and only costs Sing $9 each person. Whenever I travel I ensure I have included enough money in the country’s currency to pay for transport independent of spending money.

Location is great for food lovers and shoppers. Generally the hotel smells stale and musty from the reception to the rooms. Refurbishing is very much needed. Location of this hotel is great as it is very accessible to some very good hawker food especially 'Katong Laksa' which can be found on East Coast Road at the back of the hotel. Great shopping,more food and money changer are also available opposite the front.Transport by bus is convenient right at the front with Taxis also easily available. The rates are on the expensive side considering the rooms are rather small, tired and on the musky side.

deluxe rooms are large and spacious.
the rooms are all kept clean. standard rooms level have a smelly odor.
no clock in standard room, very inconvenient.
It's a very good hotel if you stay in the newer deluxe rooms, but not worth staying in standard rooms.
Value for money depends on where you book your room. It's a good value when I booked a deluxe room with Agoda.
The location is quite close to the city, and near several bus stops, but for those busy travelers, it is not a good options. It is a 20 min bus trip to the city and not near any MRT station. It is located near several shopping centers and there are many places to eat in the area. However behind the hotel is an area with many bars, this may be a positive for those who enjoy clubbing, but may be dangerous for frightening for others.
Staff are nice, if you give them a tip. But overall they deliver what is needed, but the extra effort could make the stay more enjoyable.
Upon entering the deluxe level, I was amazed by the design. The deluxe rooms have double beds, in which I only slept on one side, and the lighting is easy to access. The bathroom is also spacious, and very clean and comfortable.
Food and dining is nothing special, pricing is not bad for an hotel, but i rather go out to eat.
However the standard rooms are sub-par. Most probably because they have not been recently renovated. Upon entering level nine, a nasty odor swept by me. The lighting cannot be accessed all on one switch, and most of all, there is no clock. This is one of the many reasons why I should have brought a watch. The bathroom is clean, but nothing special. The beds are comfortable, but only single beds.
Overall, it was a good stay, but there is room for improvement.

It still had a room available on the weekend to far away from the city. corridors are a mess in the mornings, while the rooms are cleaned. A trainee checked me in. until a \"regular' staff came and helped. during check in she answered the phone and seem to have forgotten me.\nGood thing they checked me in before 2 PM. but i had to take a smoking room, bathtowels smelled of cigarettes. i ordered a Club Sandwich at 11PM $13 with out service charge and tax. The bread was as thin as the \"slice of Sausage, Yes Sausage. Never in my life anyone had served sausage in a club sandwich. it had fries with it no garnish like cole slow. I was hungry so i eat it.\nDon't think i'll stay there again.
Shopping Tip : a large chopping mall is nearby, but the malls in the hotel complex are rather poor.

near airport & shopping center. It may not for a tourist. i may suit for a business people or short stop stay. Or else these people who ever been to Singapore many times. there's shopping center near but there's a night club within a building. it's not nice for a family.
Shopping Tip : big shopping center just 5min.

Nice room, check in was easy, hotel staff was very accomodating and friendly. Agoda site had many poor reviews that were simply not true. I entered the hotel with very low expectations and was pleasantly surprised at how nice the hotel actually was.
The one weakness I found was the restaurant was kind of expensive and the food was just ok (not great, but not poor either). Staff was very kind and overly anxious to provide good service.
Room was cold when I arrived and the room did not have heat. Had to open window to warm up the room. Then when you leave, the air conditioner would turn on automatically. Not a huge deal, but that's about the only issues I had. I was fortunate to stay on the 5th floor which has been renovated recently. It was very nice, large room, with extended area for office and balcony. Bathroom was clean and shower had great water pressure. There was even an additional bath tub available for soaking (unfortunately I didn't get to use).
Internet service was free (although they said they charged at the front desk) and housekeeping was happy to provide an electric adapter for US laptop plug (for small deposit).
The bed was even soft, unlike most beds in Asia that are like sleeping on the floor, and it slept very well.
I would highly recommend this hotel to others (assuming you get a renovated room like I did).
Shopping Tip : There is a shopping mall right across the street.

Clean & the staff are great. The rooms are very big and the views are amazing if you get the top floor. Quite a bit far from downtown, and a long walk to the MRT if that's your thing. Overall, a great hotel - I'd stay there again. Lots of amenities close by but a little far from downtown. Didn't eat in the hotel, but gave it a 4 just because the staff are great so the food must be as well!

It's A really nice hoteland great price. The Television cable channel it's not working as it should be.And the sliding door for the balcony would not open. I was very impressed with the hotel. It is a four star hotel like it said in the review.It is a great location in between town area and the main airport. it is really close to the beach,shopping mall,restaurants and parks. I stayed for twelve days on business and pleasure.
Nightlife Tip : The clubs and bars are right behind the hotel.The shopping mall is about five minute walk.Perfect location.
