Every time an Agoda customer checks out of a hotel we send them an email asking them to write a review of their stay. This is the only way reviews can be submitted. Every review must then be approved by our content team before being posted on the Agoda website. Therefore, unlike many other travel sites, ALL Agoda reviews are certified and genuine.

This hotel was recommended to me by a friend who had stayed at this hotel and said that it was great...it wasn't. When we checked in the receptionist asked for my credit card - I thought it was just to check - like it says in the terms and conditions when you book with Agoda - take the credit card that you use for the booking with you - but no - after she had swiped my card she informed me that there would be a $100 per room hold placed on my card and that it would be "released" after 7 days - I wasn't happy about this at all as I had booked 2 rooms!! Then we got up to our rooms and to say that they were small would be an understatement! The rooms we had were tiny! There was nothing "Superior" about them. The bathroom is tiny and when you have a shower it puts water all over the floor...I found out after we checked out that you have to actually turn the fridge on yourself - it isn't automatic when you put your key in - This was not explained to us nor was it in the Hotel's compendium...This hotel has found a way to charge you for everything! If you want to use the Wi-Fi - it costs, if you want more tea/coffee in your room - it costs. Whatever you do DON'T ask reception for directions on how to get to the Long Bar at Raffles - we did and she sent us completely in the wrong direction! Luckily I had a pretty good street map of Singapore and we found it ourselves - just a short walk from the hotel (about 20mins). Also on the morning of our checkout we had no hot water to have a shower - we told our floor cleaner who let reception know...when we checked out we also let reception know that we didn't have any hot water - there reply was yes we know - your rooms and the two rooms in between yours (so 4 rooms in total) don't have any hot water at the moment and we are trying to have it fixed - yet they didn't inform us that there was no hot water and they still put us in those rooms!!! I wouldn't stay here again! This hotels overpriced! The Bed was the best thing!

Small room, hard bed.
Fast Internet but did cost, close to food market and close to new train station being built.

Used for overnight stay. Great to see Little India. Staff could have been friendlier. Wouldn't won't to stay longer.

clean,convenient location, friendly staff

The hotel location is very good and we find it very convenient to travel around. The staff is very friendly in front desk, who actively provide a free upgrade to our room. Though the room is still small, we still want to thank her. It is budget hotel which saves us a lot of money.

So, so. the hotel is very busy with families and noisy children. it felt very cramped and the rooms are just about OK. Internet is not very good. Not good value for money. this hotel is more like a ** or *** hotel.

Very disappointed. Dirty rooms
5.3
I booked 3 rooms in this hotel.
The first room: bed sheets were not changed. Hair and dirts were on the bed sheet, and floor not swept and mopped. The room was cleaned after I called reception.
The 2nd room: there were durian smells in the room and in the fridge. I understand locals may not mind the smell, but not for all foreigners. The hotel changed another room for me. The new room looked good, until i open the toilet cover. Yellow stains were on the toilet seat, which totally disgusted me. I did not complain coz too tired after changing one room.
The 3rd room: Large yellow stain on the bed sheet. Bed sheet changed after I called receptionist.
To me, this hotel is a 100% unhygienic hotel as all the 3 rooms had problems as stated above. Really disappointed. Will not come back again.
