The pool gym and leisure centre,showers, change room etc. The hotel allowed us to use these facilities both before and after our check in/out while firstly our room was not available and afterwards while we waited for a late departure flight. The business centre was excellent. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The room we were in while very clean,comfortable and spacious was probably in need of an upgrade, it looked a bit tired. I thought the price of the buffet breakfast was excessive. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the Parkroyal very much. The availability of somewhere to be(the pool area) after we arrived on a very early flight and were waiting for our room was wonderful. Actually we were a party of 4 and one room was ready when we arrived at 8am and the other room was available at 12 midday which was still 2 hours before the actual check in time.
The staff and general ambiance of the place is very good and the hotel is within easy distance
(by taxi) of Orchard Road and other places of interest to the tourist. I hope next time I stay I am in one of the rooms which has been updated, however I will stay at this hotel again.
Shopping Tip : Arab Street for fabulous material and carpets and interesting clothing and souvenirs and a taste of the Muslim culture of Singapore.

Very nice rooms, excellent location. Very Busniess Like Environment, staff dont smile. Excellent rooms and location, very nicely maintained property. Gives the feel of a 5 star.

The Club Floor is worth the extra The coffee lounge needs some improvement This hotel is an Icon of Singapore right opposite Arab St and walking distance to Bugis St.There is always taxis and the Staff are very helpful from the Conceirge to Check in to the cleaners.
A very clean and tidy hotel and close to Suntec City Mall.

Capable, friendly staff. Many long-timers on staff that still have a strong enthusiasm for the job. Good personnel recruitment, good training. Half of the rooms have a bathtub shower. You need to ask for a stand-up shower stall room if you prefer that. This is a nit. All bathrooms are clean and brand new. Also, the standard rooms are a little bare. Just a little more wall art, wallpaper, and/or an additional small sofa would be great. Another nit. I can't say enough good things about this place. Everything extremely well done. Rennovated in ~2007, so carpets and fixtures are all very new. Carpets are extremely clean. The gym is great, and many locals work out there during lunch. The outdoor pool is outstanding, great lap pool, infinite edge, surrounded by palm trees and other plants, together with the Thai-style decoration, you could have been at a resort in Thailand (except for the construction noise next door). Outdoor bar/coffee area by the pool. Spa looks wonderful, but I didn't get any treatments.
Restaurant Tip : The hotel is just adjacent to a small Arab Quarter, with many little restaurants in small alleys. A few looked quite nice, with some outdoor seating, and some were crowded with people of every ethnic origin. Worth a look, if at loose ends for dinner.

Located right in town close to shopping and dining places. No much apart from being slightly out of the way for those who wish to walk to nearby shopping or dining areas. Basicaly a very well run property, well maintained and with efficient staff at your service.

The room is large enough compare to many other hotel. Expecially the bath room require to upgrade to flat screen TV Most of the service person are very friendly and professional. I was greet every time going to the lobby area. It is surrounded in a neighbour where you find eating place, MRT conveniently.
Nightlife Tip : There are lounge and night club in the near by walking distance to Jalan Sultan area

well maintained, front desk people were helpful. Called for additional shower gels, they sent within 30min, very good customer service. A distance to MRT station, got to walk 10-15min to the nearest MRT Stayed a night only, and quite satisfied with room facilities. Just that the distance to MRT station is the only cons for me.

Nice staff, Large & Clean room and Nice swimming Pool Firstly, the staff of the reception, named Jaya was a very nice. The superior room was large and clean and the view of the room was facing to Beach Road and Arab Road that you can feel the city of Singapore. However, the quality of the mattress was not so good. The swimming pool was large and comfortable. The environment was peaceful. But the massage pool was quite small. Overall, the 5-day stay in Parkroyal on Beach Road Hotel was very comfortable and I am sure I would stay there again next time to Singapore.

The Park Royal is a nice hotel with friendly staff, well appointed rooms with a good bathroom, nice pool area and a good location. I imagine it would be an ideal hotel for families. The hotel is not a tall one so the rooms don't have the great views of other hotels in Singapore. The hotels quality makes up for this however. I stayed at the Park Royal on Beach Road for only two nights but found it to be a very nice hotel in a good location. The room was spacious,clean, had a nice bathroom and the TV was a good nice with a good variety of channels. I would stay here again when in Singapore. I could see this hotel being a good one for families.
Hotel Feature Tip : Find some time for the pool. Looks like a nice place to relax.
There is a 7/11 nearby for any supplies you may wish to pick up.
I recommend a trip up to the Indian quarter if you enjoy Indian food. There is an out door market with a variety of cheap eats. The stalls all have cleanliness ratings which is a good touch. Get a murtabek, they're great.

The room was a good size very clean bed was comfortable - close to shops hotel staff polite and friendly Late check out for guests catching flights at midnight travelling to Europe could be extended by a couple of hours internet connection was bad and charging for it was rather cheeky Our stay at the hotel was brief but enjoyable - we would book there again and probably will for the rate we paid we thought it was good value. We cant rate the meals as we have relatives in Singapore so we ate with them. All the other facilities were of a good standard and the staff were polite and helpful.

Nice, clean, spacious, inexpensive, nice pool area. Free internet would have made the experience much more convenient. IT is very annoying to pay for internet in time increments, since usually I just want to check my email, not use the computer for a few hours. The place was clean and spacious, as they gave us an free upgraded room. And although the room had a nice desk area, I was not inclined to use it because of the internet issue. IT is frustrating mostly because we had just come from a hostel that had fre breakfast and free internet. This room was much nicer in every conceivable way, but having to pay for breakfast and internet did sour the experience

faster reception (check in service),friendly staff especially regarding directions ,metro or connectivity aspects of the city, early check in and late check out available with no extra cost,staff friendly and can understand educated English,room service is efficient and accommodative (if house keeping is sloppy),good frontage on main beach road and ample parking slots for visitors and self.Internet rate reasonable and fast speed.

Hand ,face towels are not stocked and needs to be asked.Even tea and coffee refills in DB Occupied rooms are not adequate.
Good internet connectivity and speed.TV ok as not much English channel available.
Certain markets closeby but not friendly for metro/subway as station BUGIS, is a 15 mts walk in sun and rain.
Has room key specific lift for some floor but 4th and other floors ,u can just walk in.
Over all 3star not 4 star.
Shopping Tip : Mustafa a 24/7 shopping giant is at a walking distance of 8mts and by Taxi pay SGD 6-8

nice swimming pool with bar area, spacious gym inefficient handling customer's request the hotel room is spacious but the wall seemed a bit thin, so when others walked by and chatted outside, it made so much noise to us.
And, it took some time to make a change to another room. the late check out time is 3pm but we have to wait until 6pm to get a new room.
If you are a light-sleep person and would wake up easily, don't stay in the rooms near the lift lobby and there's so much light from outside the window due to the decorative light of the main entrance.

an alarm clock would have been useful as we were up early for an early flight and is a good back up to hotel reminders and mobile phones. We have been to Singapore a couple of times before but not stayed in this area. We wanted a hotel close to the MRT for an early morning departure, and a good standard room and facilities in a convenient place for a day of sightseeing and the Parkroyal on Beach Road delivered. We would consider staying again when in Singapore for a longer stay.

Early check in. Upgrade. Pool area. Friendly staff Breakfast should be included in price. Better awareness/promotion of hotel bars and restaurants Stayed for a weekend with my two nieces (teenagers, therefore mad about shopping!!) Hotel allowed early check in plus free upgrade. Pool area great and room service very good also (girls again) Bar area fairly quite but good location for getting about town. Staff were very friendly and polite. Would be happy to recommend the hotel and I would certainly stay here again
Shopping Tip : Only a $4 dollar taxi ride to Suntec City shopping mall if hotel shuttle service not available
