Good service but a bit tired looking hotel

Hotel is a bit tired looking (the rooms). Reception area is quite nice and staff are all friendly. we were surprised to find that the window in the room cannot be opened. It has basic amenities that you would expect from a 4 star hotel. Opposite the hotel there are alot of eateries and you can find all sorts of food. Hotel food is not bad too, especially the buffet lunch.

Good loction and nice room

I like this location, cause there are many resturants on the opposite cross the street. You should try Zam Zam. I love it. And it very close to Sultan Mosque, if you are interested in muslim culture.
I stayed in this hotel for 4 days in a very good rate.
The hotel is quite clean and comfortable. It's nice for trip with famliy and also for business trips.
If the room has a bigger window, it would be perfect.

Restaurant Tip:
If you are a Briyani Rice lover, you must try Chicken Briyani at Singapore Zam Zam (Arab Street). 8 minutes walk from Park Royal Beach Road Hotel. Reasonable pricing.

Knowing how expensive singapore hotels can get up to, i had a ready good deal. And the room is comfortably big. Staffs are friendly and helpful. Locations is great too. There's bus stops that locate just infront and behind of the hotel if you do the research well and is only 5-10mins walk to the mrt (Bugis station or nicole highway station). Lots of eatery nearby hotel.

staff really worked to make our stay pleasant. our room, based on the agoda listing, could have been two twin beds. the staff made sure we had a king-size bed. they also helped us out on check-out day by making sure we could use the locker rooms to change for our flight, which was a middle-of-the-night departure.
Sightseeing/Attractions Tip:
When in Singapore you definitely want to see the Nighttime Safari.

i stayed in parkroyal for a night to have a good rest after a tiring vacation back from malaysia. my spouse and i checked in the hotel at 12a.m in the night. in spite of the late check in, the service given for us is beyond expectation. we have a really good check in experience, thanks to the lovely staffs. we booked the hotel about 2 hours before our check in and due to the shortage of time, we are unable to print the voucher. thought it might be difficult for us to check in but the staff was so kind to offer her help to assist us to print out the voucher. this is really a awesome service and give us a wonderful experience.

We booked the Weekend package online for two nights while en route to Bali, this being the first time we had stayed at this particular hotel in Singapore. On check in, to our surprise, we were given a complementary upgrade to a Deluxe room by the friendly staff. Our room was on the 4th Floor, and looked out onto the construction area at the back.
Contrary to a couple of previous reviews, we were not disturbed by either the lighting or any noise from the building site during our two day visit. The internet access was also fast and stable. We found the pool/bar area, on the same floor, very pleasant, deceiving large and attractively laid out.
Overall, we would recommend this hotel highly, and will have no hesitation about staying there again!
Shopping Tip:
One of the strengths of this hotel is it's convenient location to Arab Street (lots of little restaurants and bars), Bugis Junction/Bugis Street/Bugis MRT and for the techno nerds, Sim Lim Square, and of course Little India, with it's great selection of Indian food for all budgets.
