awesome service and room

i stayed in parkroyal for a night to have a good rest after a tiring vacation back from malaysia. my spouse and i checked in the hotel at 12a.m in the night. in spite of the late check in, the service given for us is beyond expectation. we have a really good check in experience, thanks to the lovely staffs. we booked the hotel about 2 hours before our check in and due to the shortage of time, we are unable to print the voucher. thought it might be difficult for us to check in but the staff was so kind to offer her help to assist us to print out the voucher. this is really a awesome service and give us a wonderful experience.

The service was great. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Room and facilities were amazing.

My stay was excellent. The room is great with an lcd tv that plays videos from thumbdrive. Service was great and the staff were friendly.

We booked the Weekend package online for two nights while en route to Bali, this being the first time we had stayed at this particular hotel in Singapore. On check in, to our surprise, we were given a complementary upgrade to a Deluxe room by the friendly staff. Our room was on the 4th Floor, and looked out onto the construction area at the back.
Contrary to a couple of previous reviews, we were not disturbed by either the lighting or any noise from the building site during our two day visit. The internet access was also fast and stable. We found the pool/bar area, on the same floor, very pleasant, deceiving large and attractively laid out.
Overall, we would recommend this hotel highly, and will have no hesitation about staying there again!
Shopping Tip:
One of the strengths of this hotel is it's convenient location to Arab Street (lots of little restaurants and bars), Bugis Junction/Bugis Street/Bugis MRT and for the techno nerds, Sim Lim Square, and of course Little India, with it's great selection of Indian food for all budgets.

We stayed here 4 nights and the location was fantastic there is a train line just around the corner and lots of restaurants nearby. Thought that it was a bit rich though that we booked for 2 adult and 1 child and then there was only 1 bed and they wanted for an addit bed to be bought in, really we should have been advised this on booking or offered a diff room.

The staff services are great. The room is big enough for 2 persons to stay. Full amenities. Although the decoration of the hotel rooms were bit-outdated, the room was well maintained. The only cons was the hotel was bit far from the nearest mrt station, bugis. You have to walk for 15-20 minutes to reach the hotel from the mrt station. If you wish to go to orchard, i will advise you to take a bus to orchard from the nicole highway. it will takes around 20 minutes to reach to orchard road.
Altho it was a 4 stars hotel, no shuttle bus service was provided to the guest.
Nearby the hotel, there was a stretch of restaurants and bars. you can easily look for it.

we just spent a weekend in singapore and did not use the services of the hotel so much. but the room was quiet and clean and the service was overall good. the location was good just opposite the arab street. and if you want you can walk to the city easily.

the receptionist is very friendly and they upgraded our room from superior to orchid club delux. the room is clean and comfortable.
location is not so convinence as we need to walk about 10mins to mrt station. this hotel is very near to exhibition centre.
